Thanks Mark. Excellent explanation. Filled in a lot of the holes surrounding what I knew and what I didn't.

Thanks Mark for the excellent description of the 3 main ogive shapes and graphical examples that everyone can understand. Now, instead of explaining for the ten thousandths time of what the differences are, I'll just point them to your great video. Keep up the good work man.

Thank you. Once again you made things clear without over complicating it. For a while I thought hybrid was describing the "plastic" tip that is part of some projectiles. Most of the time when I shoot it's just to enjoy nature and relax. That may sound odd to some people. It's just how I describe it.
Stay safe. Take care. Have fun. 😎

Thanks a ton for this video. I’ve always wondered what the term hybrid actually meant when it comes to bullets. It’s good to know which types need more fiddling with the seating depth and which don’t.

Yeah man when I got into reloading all these terms started coming up when I was looking for information but it took a while to learn what they meant or if they even applied to what I was doing. Tangent ogive bullets I think Sierra Match Kings, Secant ogives I think Berger VLD, and to my knowledge Hornady uses a hybrid ogive with their ELD-M. I also found out what you were talking about that bullets with Secant ogives takes a good bit of tuning and Tangent ogive bullets tend to take less to give you consistent accuracy. Definitely an informative video brother...
