Thanks so much for this video!
I always clean my Bosch dryer thoroughly every month or so but was still getting the dreaded DR code.
I know I had to take drastic action! and have a look inside the machine. There is surprisingly very little information about this online.
Your video gave me confidence to open the panel and really clean the sump.
One minor annoyance was removing the clips from the dryer stacking assembly without breaking them. It took WAY longer than it should have and I ended up cracking one of them.
In the end, I couldn't believe it actally worked and I didn't have to spend $$$ on a repairman!

i had a similar problem but i fixed it by cleaning the filter tray from all the junk and lint. normaly the machine would work then stop you would have to restart it then works stops simple wipe of the bottom left chamber fixed it. but now after a year i have a problem it works 10min then the fuze breaks. could be the water pump or something else i have to look at it tommorow

    Hi Rob,
    And thank you.
I have a similar dryer to the one in the video, but the door with no glass.
This is a bosch tumble dryer wtn83200 which shows E06 when power on. I checked the heating element and the thermostat, they look fine and continuity test good. I cleaned them good and also the other black sensor. The error still there. Can you tell me how to reset this model, I think it should be by pushing the touch buttons on the panel, but I don't really know.
I understood that the last time it worked my girl took her "blanki" out and about a week afterwards, my wife tried to use it and the error immediately appeared.
It is like this for about 2 weeks. I just started checking it yesterday. So far, I cleaned the filter, the moisture element in the drum, the condenser, the heating element with the 2 sensors on it (thermostat and another black plastic) and tested continuity of the thermostat. Just need to reset it digitally somehow, I guess it would help.
There is no reset button like in old dryers.
I will clean the sump area, but I found on the net that this error is about a problem with the heating circle.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thank you,
    Ori

I have a Bosch avantixx dryer wtb86200au. The water reservoir doesn't fill with water. I have cleaned the condenser filter and the lint trap. What else could be wrong. Thanks.

@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance Hi, yes it does dry the clothes very well. I'm just concerned why the pull out drawer located at the top left hand side of the machine isn't filling up with water. thanks.
