I'm still baffled at how much time Reto must put into gaming to pump out as many videos as he does, all with the same awesome quality, it's like the gift that keeps on giving! Probably the one that got me into roguelikes & deck/dicebuilders :D
I played the Amuse Bouche edition & I’m actually genuinely excited for this one. Sometimes good theming can make the difference for me & on top of the Yahtzee-like elements I really enjoyed playing this & it’s near the top of my Roguelike deck & dicebuilding wishlist
So it looks like the strat would be to finish only one dish at a time, while prepping the rest of the dishes to only be one die off, reserve the easier dishes for last as there isn’t a patience penalty and can be fodder to passing your turn. For example: (let’s use the dice at the end of the vid) [1,1,1,4,5] Ones (X, …) > (1,…) Match 4 (X,X,X,X) > (1,1,XX) Match 2 (X,X) > (4,X) {Don’t reroll the 5 and serve} Next Serving: [1,1,1,6,5] Match 4 (1,1,X,X) > (1,1,1,X) Match 2 (4,X) Match 2 (X,X) > (5,X) Match 3 (X,X,X) > (1,X,X) {Reroll the 6 and hope for a 4 or 5. If you can’t get a 4 or 5, finish the Match 4 by returning the [1] from Match 3; regardless of outcome, you have two dishes ready to go out by the next serving. If you only serve one the dishes next round, you can use the second dish that was ready to go out for extra time on future dishes, instead of sending them both at once}

Amazing UA-camr, seems like an amazing individual too. Great gamer too, which makes it a lot better also 👍
Is he actually human ? 🤔
I love hearing your commentary at the ends of these videos. I’m a gamedev, and it’s helping me learn to improve my own games :)
Really fun game. Not fan of the isometric slow 3d dice rolls but it's new concept.
It reminded me of free solo PNP board game Roll n Cook.
Seems like a single-player yahtzee! Pretty neat!

The first thing I thought of was a patience penalty. I feel like as time passes they could decrease in the value of money they give back
I love that the menu options make a microwave sound lol
A sneaky cutthroat kitchen reference?
this reminds me of a board game called diced veggies
Back at it again with the bangers
cool name if nothing else
"Minimalist Cooking Dicebuilder Roguelikes" quite a lot of keywords there
and yet they're all true.
@@Retromation it's not out of the ordinary for your titles lol
I'd rather be descriptive than clickbait any day of the week
@@Retromation fair enough
So this is cooking Yahtzee/Yacht Dice, gotta say, it's interesting.
Such a neat game.
wtf i really doesn't understand a shit about this game, but looks interesting
I want to frame this comment and put it on my desk hahahahah
first!
The game doesn't make a good first impression on me, so I'm gonna dip here during the ingredients tutorial
