I booked golden crest house boat in the month of August in 2022. Though the hotel is beautiful, trusting on UA-cam videos, I booked the house boat. The staff and owner is greedy. They force their customers to take shikara ride of their choice else they will charge you for pick up and drop. I was forced to pay rs 200 extra for nothing. Moreover, you will not get hot water though they claim so.

I called this house boat for booking in November, and they are charging 5000 rs /room( double bedded), with breakfast and dinner.
This video is almost 1 and half year old. Prices keeps increasing as per inflation.

houseboats does not move ...and located at lake exit .... its not really inside lake , region has most scams and socio-economic problems risky tour .

No, it doesn’t cruise.
In which month you travel?..n agar dono doses lgi h phir hoga airport pr covid test?
We travelled on March 1st week. Covid test not required for fully vaccinated travellers.
