We really enjoyed spending time with you all. Your family is a joy to be around. Liked all that "flat" land too!
Said like a true Hillbilly. 😘 I was born in Charleston and miss the hills there.
i watch all your videos
Troy and Kelly you are good people to take the time to help the Hollars'.
I finally found someone in southern WV to watch. I am Raleigh Co. area
@@themadennis Come on home! There is plenty of room!
If you could hire a big chipper that brush would make wonderful biomass for your garden.
That is exactly what I was thinking!
this -- does the tractor have a pto?
Or fill for the dug out. :)
It's amazing what a couple extra sets of hands can do to alleviate the mental blockage that happens when we look at a never ending task. Ask my hubby. I look at a sink of dishes with dread and all it takes is him giving an occasional hand to lift my spirits. LOL
Such great friends - I love how all the homesteaders get together and help each other.
Hello there beautiful 👋👋👋👋
How are you
@@angelaleah4630 WTF?
@@rosieradcliffe5578 I can't call you beautiful ???
You have a lovely photo
Keep up the good work, love seeing your homestead move forward. God bless all of you.
Wow!! What a fantastic job you all have done. It really look good. It’s going to look so good when the grass has grown especially when you have animals roaming around. I only wish I had something like that. Over the years you will look back and say A JOB WELL DONE. The homestead is really coming together. The future is really looking good. May God keep on blessing you, your friends and family. It is so nice when your friends from afar come to give a helping hand. Be safe and I will keep watching the videos from Alabama. Bye!!
They are great friends to come and help! I had a thought....could you build a root cellar in that area that is eroding? You could build retaining walls and a roof and fill in the soil all around. You're going to need a place to store all of your canned foods next year when your garden is massively producing!
Wow what a huge help! 👍🙂
It makes my heart smile...neighbors helping neighbors (even though not that close!). This is what Americal is all about. Great video!
😊
The way things were when I grew up, I'm a baby boomer, good life and great times
It is really just one UA-cam hoping to grow their channel by getting on another UA-camrs channel that is bigger. Was self serving they are not saints.
The fellowship was just as great a blessing as the work. Glad you got so much done. Thanks for sharing.
So nice of them to be willing to drive so far to come and help. It is amazing how much y'all got cleared. It will be lovely with some grass growing in there. Thanks for sharing this work camp with us and Thanks to Red Tool House for donating time to help this deserving family. Have a Blessed day.
Those cut saplings are perfect for your boys to make forts with! Survivalist training sorta thing. Or trellis and arbor material. What a nice pile of material for creating with.
I’ve seen different videos where flexible trees/branches are used as fencing.
Or great supply for wood chipping.
Maybe Ben will rent a chipper later. Or a friend with one will show up!
You are so blessed to have found such good friends! Looks great for your pigs! Baby girl is gorgeous!❤😊
Hi..... Meg and Ben nice to see you, thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🌱🐖🎥👍👍👍
Wow that is nice you are slowly getting all your land usable Ben and I have watched some of Red Tool House videos and so nice of them come and help out and Meg the boys and sweet Lillyanna are growing up so fast. Its good to see y'all take care sweet friend's and the homestead is looking great Thanks for sharing God Bless sweet friend's ♥️♥️♥️♥️
It was nice to see another video from you and your family. That was so awesome that they came down there to help you clear some of your property. It's looking really good.
So wonderful to see good folks helping others. And that BABY! Ohmigoodness! Love my some cute babies!

Red Toolhouse!! Love them. WV rocks! I'm coming home soon!
Great progress with good friends to help. Way to go. 💞🦃🍁
They are generous, good people. The land is looking so good...so much bigger now it is cleared.
I have watched their channel for quite a while. So nice of them to come down and help you guys clear out the trees and brush. The pigs are going to love all the new space. And yes, the baby is a real cutie!
love, Love, LOVE Troy and Kelly ! ! !
Troy is very knowledgeable about trees for shade, feed and erosion control.
Kelly is just all around wonderful.
It's nice to see the collaboration. -KJ
Great to have some help f or you Ben 😊😊👍🏼
Wonderful friends!!
Great upload!!!! So nice to see friends helping friends. If everyone supported and lifted up each other imagine what a wonderful world this would be.
God bless good friends!
The brush will help slow the surface water's speed and stop some erosion. you can build small swales (shovel depth's) on contour to keep sediments in, too. to seed prairie grass, nothing like grainy hay. Cheap because usually people prefer not having the seeds : but you do !
How satisfying it must be to take such great steps towards "stewarding" your land to help it thrive. The boys are growing like weeds and lil miss Lillyanna is so dang pretty
Love how the homestead community comes together to help eachother!
Just love your husband, such a hard worker, always giving 100%in what ever he does, he loves his family very much you all work so well together. The kids having been learning so much with the garden and the live stock! Plus Mom keeps it all working in balance, with love and kindness.

How kind of them to travel all that way to help, as well as build new friendships. You are so blessed to have met so many wonderful people to share in your lives.
Love to you all ❤️❤️❤️
Keep up the great work you are doing.
Troy and Kelly are clearing machines with a little help from you guys. It’s such a blessing to have friends like that
I think the family from 'The Red Tool House' are lovely to come all that way to help. What a wonderful community spirit between you all. It sure shows how people aught to be. That dug out will make a nice hugeltrench like Shawn James did on his property in Canada. Yours boys are certainly not scared of work Ben and Meg, they are growing up into lovely young men. The little one looks so cute and growing quickly. Have a great day every one.
A good days work...excellent job all!
Two great families in one place! What a blessing.
I'm glad to see Ben finally using gloves!
Clearing brush is a lot of fun WHEN you have a place to put it all... and friends to help.
I love this homesteading community! I so wish I was able to do it. Y'all just come together and work together and have fun and do loads of work to help each other.
I love seeing friends helping friends!
The homesteading community is awesome. The new cleared land is a huge asset to your farm and a great step forward.
Happy Easter 🙏
That's what's nice about having a community like that that everybody helps everybody out god bless stay safe stay strong stay healthy and enjoying life✌❤💪👨🍳🎅🚌👍
👍
Wow your Wonderful Friend from Red Schoolhouse did not even mess around a little bit. It was fun to watch. It was great to see your beautiful faces. The baby is getting even prettier than before. She is a Heartbreaker along with all your boys.
Hello Hollars! Wow! Good friends, good work. Such a blessing. Little miss is such a cutie!🥰 take care!
Homesteaders really are a big family as I watch them on UA-cam I see the ones I follow know each other God Bless you all just starting out on my 7.78 acres at 61 one wish me luck
Maybe you could build your own gabions across the cutout to retain it. If there are enough rocks & blocks lying around it could help clear them up.
We West Virginians don't full around lol We like to help others just like us. I'll check out their Channel and follow them also. Your Friend from Mineral County WV. God Bless and Peace Be With You All
Ha! Love the name. There is some nice farm land in Mineral County!
@@RedToolHouse Thank You the names is because anything possible where Pigs Fly lol. Yes there is lots of good farm land here. A friend of mine has 100 acres with Orchard of Plums, Cherries, Peaches Apples and I do Believe Apricots, Windmill, Barn and Small 2 bedroom log cabin for sale if you know anyone looking. I only have 2.3 acres and small garden with few chickens and my dog. I'm 61 almost 62 Disabled and enjoying life playing in dirt lol. Hope to learn more about your Homestead.
Wow how nice that was for the Red Tool house to come and help! and it look Amazing.
Ben since you cut all those branches down you need a wood chipper to turn all that wood into wood chips for the chicken and pig bedding and mulch for your garden next year
So awesome to have folks like that just wanting to help out. Looks great! Greetings from Wisconsin. Karen
Hey Hollars, I have family with hilly property by the coast and we use vetiver grass to stop erosion. The roots can go 30 feet down and it's very good at slowing water down. It can take a real beating its good for grazing and grows huge, very high yield.
Beautiful Friendship and beautiful clearing 🙏❤️
Sure is a moral booster get so much accomplished. Good for all of you. Those pigs should be happy. The boys are pitching in with enthusiasm. Good for them. Baby girl is starting to become a little person. A pretty little girl. Keep safe and healthy. Blessings
Such a blessing...the homesteading community is showing and living what real community values are. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
👍
That was totally awesome how they came down and helped to clear the land! 😊👍💕💕💕
That Hollow out land that you are putting
The scarp trres and limbs would be a perfect pond for the animals for drinking
and cooling off aman made pond will help you out alot. ( NO MOTE CARRING
💧WATER 💧 )
That's a nice haircut to the land!!!❤🙏Looks Great!
So wonderful to have a community like that. Lots of hard work in those couplle of days. What a difference it made. Baby looking good growing fast. Your boys also did and awsome job helping clear out the cuttings
Ohh how I wish some(goodbody) can come and help me to clear my place up a bit. You are so lucky to have friends like them. What a great team effort. Looks so good. Enjoy your new cleaned out space. 🌳💖🤩
What a blessing! Everything is looking great. Work is more enjoyable with help. ❤🙏
The ( Dug Out) would make an excellent place for a very nice root and storm shelter. You could even run electric in for lights and freezers
That was so sweet that they came out to help you shows there still good folks out there bless there hearts for that 🙏🏼🥰
Liliana looks so cute in her butterfly and flowers outfit, she is so alert now, won't be long until she's at the vocal stage! That's going to entertain the boys, they won't get a word in. The new pastures look wonderful, the pigs are going to be very happy there, lots more room for the boys to play too. Nice sliding place, just need a bit of cardboard!
Hello from Northern Ireland. Just came upon your video and happy to subscribe. It's lovely to see you and others joining together to get stuff done...that's what life is all about helping one another and sharing. That's how you know your friends and thank God for your friends.
You mentioned choke cherry trees. The cherries make great syrup and jelly. What a blessing friends can be.
Another great help in your community friends it’s going to be a lovely project xxx baby and family looking great xxxx
What wonderful friends to help. You are very lucky to have friends who don't mind working!
I had watched red tool house's video, might have been yesterday. So this was fun. Their video explained more of the science behind doing this. Yours showed y'all enjoying yourselves. And that baby girl continues to be adorable!!
As the saying goes many hands make light work. Great job clearing the trees it is hard work.
Red Toolbox channel has great ideas especially for getting land cheaper.
So glad they could offer your family a helping hand in getting some of the big jobs done. Clearing land is no picnic and more hands makes the job more fun. Thank you!
I hope that both families have a wonderful Thanksgiving. You both have many things to be thankful for, as we all do.
Boy! Talk about some helpful, hardworking and motivated friends!!! 😀🤙
How fun I love your guests, watch them once in a while, I also listened to a lot of their videos on finding a homestead, though we are too old now, we live through your videos
I'm glad you saved trees, wonderful
Hello Hollar Homestead!! I came over today and subscribed because of Troy & Kelly from The Red Tool House. You have an awesome family and have had quite a lifestyle change. I’m looking forward to watching you continue to grow your life together! May God richly bless you all!
All of those saplings are perfect for wattle fencing! wattle fences last for years
So nice to see folks helping each other.
What a blessing!
Awesome to have help from friends. Great job clearing!!!
Great to see you getting some help from your friends. Hopefully they will be blessed for coming to help you out , looking good xxx
Howdy from west Texas! Wow! Y’all sure made quick work clearing the pig’s area. Know you’re pleased!
Ben a good way to stop or slow down the erosion of the hill is to slope part of the hill that was cut away so the rain rolls off the sloped area and not fall off the high part like a water fall.
Fun video to watch; pigs are going to love it. 👍 Thanks for sharing some of your life.
I did check our their channel, thank you for pointing them out. Also seen Sow the Land with Meg and Rebecca making vanilla extract. So COOL!
Hello from South Carolina! Just found your channel and subscribed and gave y’all a 👍🏻up. Looking forward to getting to know y’all better and sharing ideas along life’s journey. Just started our channel little less than 2 months ago. GOD Bless Y’all. 🙏🏻😇👍🏻 Thanks. Pastor Lon
Wow what nice friends to help clear trees. God bless them for their help. Looks nice for sure. Baby is getting bigger and so darling and pretty for sure. GREAT JOB ALL God's blessings and Happy Thanksgiving y'all!!!
Wow that's looking good! I've got mine cleared but I have no pigs or goats so I'm having to keep it maintained. Keeps me busy and out of trouble though.
Can't believe I just found this. Best UA-cam, Marvel, Homestead, Universe team-up I ever saw.
Wow, that was cool to watch and such an amazing blessing to your little family! I've always loved UA-cam for creating a place where we viewers can choose the content we see and know that the creators are the ones benefiting from our views and ad revenue and not as many giant corporations as on network tv. But the nice bonus is that we get to see the human connections made that evolve into a community between creators as well as here in the comments. For all the annoyance (sometimes) of YT and still acknowledging it is, itself, a giant corporate entity...I still choose this entertainment/educational format. Thank you for sharing this great experience with us.
The boys really did some growing this summer. Looking good and great job. peace
oh i love red tool house!
I have missed your videos lately - but I know you all loving on Miss Lillyanna! What great friends!
That's really wonderful of your friends. God bless them. Cheers to all .
I think tons of viewers would love a short video series on each person in the family. What their interests are, some of their stories about experiences and just get to know you all better. I think it would be great!
Yay for all that new space!!
Glad they came down to help and advise. Hopefully you get some edibles growing for the pigs!
Yep, that looks like a bit of work accomplished. Thanks new friends.
So much more fun when friends help out. Takes away the drudgery. Turns it into goals easily attained. Awesome! Congratulations!!
Looks Great Well Done!! Keep in mind you might want to reconsider leaving the cherry trees if you ever get a milk cow.
Nice job! Brushing is tough, but it's way better with help.
You should see if someone has a wood chipper, chip all those limbs down into big piles and you will have all the bedding you could want for the chickens runs and the pigs and for the gardens. Could see if a local tree removal company has one and see what they would charge to do it for a couple hours at a time.
Great friends make the world go round!❤️
