Camping on a wild river in Autumn

- A canoe and kayak trip down a river that is designated as a wild river. There are only a few rivers that are protected from development. It is pretty much the same as it has been since the beginning of time. Join us as we journey 3 days, and two nights, on one of the most beautiful rivers. Paddling and camping and cooking on the open fire. It doesn't get bet than this!
Fun trip Marine! That s’more thing you were talking about sounded amazing. All the food made me hungry. I’m looking forward to part 2! 👍
It wasn't as good as it looked. I have been enjoying your videos. Good stuff! I haven't commented lately because google change my Chanell name when I do. To "Backpacking with a hammock". Trying to figure that one out.
@@AdventureswiththeMarineTry going into UA-cam Studio then settings and see what is says your “Handle” is. You may be able to change it there.
When I just replied it shows my Handle. That might be it.
WOW, paddling on a "wild river", didn't think something like that existed. The weather and scenery looked beautiful and all of you had such a great time. BTW: Let your son know that I've added stainless steel chop sticks to my cooking kit...turns out to be quite the multifunctional tool around camp. Thanks Zak.
That is is funny. I have yet to use them. I don't know why. They are super handy. Thank you Parnold-mora for watching. I always appreciate it.
I see Zac had the best spot again right next to the river! I love how he got himself wet in the river carrying that log and using the tarp to keep that wood dry. Nice eagle hanging out with you guys...
I am glad didn't drown. Otherwise we would not have had that fire!
Another great video that captures our wonderful adventures! Thank you for doing such a wonderful job, Ron. Looking forward to the next trip! 🙂
I can't wait for, For yours and TJ's Childs second trip down the Namekagon River!
@@AdventureswiththeMarine excited for that and BWCA! People don't believe me that I'll bring a baby there ... I say - just watch me! 😆
Happy Marine Corps Birthday & Happy Veterans Day, Marine!
Thank you Chriscon so much.
That looked like a great time. Cool to see Runner. Those steaks looked great.
Zac and I had sirloin. But Runner. Ribeye! What's wrong with that picture?
Always great! Thanks!
Thank you Michael so much.
Great video! Looked like a relaxing trip!
It was very relaxing. It is a river to check out. Thank you for watching.
you need to convert them to hammock hanging
great food, friends, perfect weather thats living life
another great video, thanks for sharing
The cool thing about this trip. A couple days after TJ and Ashley came home. She found out thar she was pregnant with her first Child. The next trip with them. We will have a baby with.
@@AdventureswiththeMarine Congrats
Now that was a lot of fun. What a a great group. Of course Runner had to bring a ribeye and a fancy camp chair.😁😁 My youngest son's girlfriend like to put a peanut butter cup in her smore. Me I'm to old and traditional. Like my chocolate bar. Thanks for another outstanding video. God Bless, Al
That Runner pulled a fast one on us! My Nephew Jonny. Has me hooked on a peanut butter cup with my smore. How are the colors in Vermont?
@@AdventureswiththeMarine all gone now. Not a great year but still beautiful. Now on to winter camping!!!
Please offer viewers to go w/ you on a trip….not thousands of $$ like some UA-camrs. My brother & I did a 10 trip down the Suwannee River in Florida & a friend joined us for 2 days. The trip my brother & shared will always be special & we plan to do more now that I’ve just retired. He has a few more years of working
I’m still watching video 😮The eagles!!!!
My brother bought an old outfitters place on that river. He is in the process of fixing it up. If you and your brother ever want to do a trip like that. I will hook you up.
Love the Namekagon! I did a section solo last fall. I was really impressed with the quality of some of the campsites and certain areas are very wild and challenging. It is legit. If you ever need to borrow a canoe (and leave the kayaks behind), you are welcome to mine. I also have a two-place canoe trailer and - I am right down the road!
Is your canoe Royalex? ( plastic ). And if you and you family want to ever use our kayaks ( I have 4 ) for and trip or for a day on the Willow, to adventure up to the waterfall and back. Please let me know. I hope to see you with Danny at the Wisconsin Frozen Butt Hang.
No, my canoes are the much more fragile type: kevlar.@@AdventureswiththeMarine
My husband and I have this debate when we go camping. Cook over flame or cook over hot embers. I prefer flame, he prefers embers. I bet Henry wishes he had went with you.
Embers always gives you and even heat. Easier to cook with. And plus no suit on the bottom of the pot. Tell your husband to get you out camping. My brother just bought an old outfitters house on that river we where on. If you and your husband are interested in something like that. He would provide a shuttle and a bunkhouse on the first and last day. No cost. It is one of the last wild river in the U.S.
What a blessed time. Wish I had a chance to go camping more often but this year was a hard one for camping for us. Praying next year will give us more camping time. So nice to see you all enjoying each other. My husband asked me "why are so many camping videos more about food and eating than the actual camping?" I had no answer. Other than to show him one of our videos where I speed lapsed toasting a marshmallow. I often ask why so many people cook where they are camping when we are advised we should never do that. Honestly, I cook where I camp too, but the bear experts say you shouldnt.
In the Bible. When people got together. It was always around food. That is a big part of fellowship and where conversations are at it's best. There is nothing like cooking on a open fire. Especially with people you love.
@@AdventureswiththeMarine I agree!
Always wanted to paddle that one
My brother just bought an old outfitters place on the Namekagon River. Where he and his wife are going to live. He is thinking about doing a shuttle service for people. And I am encouraging him and his wife to think about guiding. He has a bunkhouse for the first night. So if you are interested. I will hook you up.
Marine - you are blessed with great family and friends. Thanks for taking us along. Also was fun to watch you do your setups. Great place (been there a couple times)
Someday. You are going to travel up north to join me on trip down the Namekagon River.
@@AdventureswiththeMarine that my friend would be very cool!
👍 The river rafting was beautiful. The meal portion made me hungry. Glad you guys had a great time.
Good food. Good people on a beautiful river. What more can one ask for! Thank you Meaninglessendeavors for watching. Very much appreciated!
@@AdventureswiththeMarine I always enjoy your videos because you always seem to have fun in a very positive way, visit some beautiful spots, bring along interesting people, and give good practical advice. Thank you!
Hello Ron and friends, this is Simone from Berlin. I just watched this beautiful fall video 😊. It was great how you prepared sausages, steaks and marshmallows together over the open fire. I could practically smell the delicious smell of sausages 🌭🥩🍡😋 . 🛶🏕🌛✨️🌲
It is amazing how much better food taste cooked on an open fire. Thank you Simone so much for watching. I really do appreciate it.
Hope you enjoy your celebration this Friday! Always Faithful, Brother!!!
Happy Birthday. ( 2 days early ) Semper Fi!
