i know wot ya mean by the Christmas market smell, i was in York a few weeks ago, the smell was amazing as i walked past the stalls, cracking brew ....Happy New year Stu 👍🏻🍺
Hey Stuart, love the idea of mulled cider. Thanks for sharing! We are planning to make a batch of it next year. Currently we are working on making an Apple Pie Cider. Happy Holidays! Best, CFS
Hey guys, glad you like the concept. It has worked very well, and I’ll develop this further for next Christmas. Apple pie cider sounds unreal, what will you use to flavour it (other than apples)? Cheers! 🍻
@@CideryFromScratch That sounds wonderful, if it’s too dry, you might benefit from adding some no sugar apple cordial, look forward to seeing the results.
I tried making a spiced cider, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and something else all went in. Tasted it and had no flavour except slight ginger taste so I've decided to throw in a bottle of vimto so it's actually a nice tasting drink. Just waiting for the fermentation to finish now
Hi Matt, I really can't remember, do I not say in the film? If not, in a one gallon batch then I would add 200-300g usually. It will finish dry though. If you want sweet, add non-sugar based sweeteners when fermentation is finished.
That sparkling cider looked amazing
Thanks! It was very good 🍻
Oh my.... I would love to try that! it looks like a tasty cider 😍
Thanks, yes it’s a very tasty drop! Cheers!!

How much sugar did you use?
