This is where you really have to respect Gervonta. Gervonta said this was a fight you don't won't to bring the family on both sides. This shows he respect Ryan as a fighter where he felt he can lose or he can be badly injured or vice versa for Ryan. This is a person that care and have good sportsmanship.
I think people are underestimating Ryan, he has real timing and speed, but Tank's boxing IQ just seems on another level. I think Tank learned from Floyd. If you watch Tank's fights he just downloads information on all his opponents first few rounds, just like Floyd, and then dominates in later rounds alongside his conditioning and power. Even in this interview, you can hear him talk about him studying Ryan, and how he even be watching old Floyd fights on the way to his fight nights. He's a real student of the game.
