For instance, We as staff working on Excel online and whenever we add any new records or delete anything from the data, then I need the same reflection of the new records or delete of the data within the google sheet. Hey I currently do not know of a way to achieve this easily. I am sure you could create an integration through something like microsoft power apps but I have never had this use case.

Hello, thanks for the tutorial, but mine get stuck after i click on the 'Data, - from web' then a windows of like a web msn comes. on the above bar it says web query. if i click go, it will want to download the sheets to my pc. it doesnt shows the table view as you show in this video. Please help, Thanks.

I have been searching for a way on how to create a database online using google drive without using API. The closest method that I am thinking is excel to google sheet. I have just found out your method. Do you have a tutorial on how to add data in excel that will update it to google sheet also?

@@grincon I found already the way in other youtube channel and it was great. Maybe someday if my schedule is no longer busy I will create a video on how to create a database online without showing any browser in the back. And i will make that database file executable also.

I am referencing few columns from Sheet 1 to sheet 2 in google forms. Then when I connect sheet 2 with excel and import it, for some reason it imports words "Column 1, column 2, column 3 etc.." how to avoid importing those names.

Yes because the data is being downloaded it will be delayed, there is however a setting where you can change how often the data refreshes.
is there a way to do the other way around? after syncing from Google Sheet, update the data from excel and push those update to Google Sheets?
yes but it is much more complicated.. and I am not sure why your usecase would require you to do that

I would like to import data from zerodas console or holding statement figure to google drive spreadsheet or Google sheets automatically LTP change every day. Please guide us ASAP

May I please ask how do I set so that it only pulls data of the latest entries and not the whole worksheet?
I believe an easy way to do this would be to set up a pull from another google sheet that is filtering the data based on the max date.
I am not sure of your use case though
imported data is added at the bottom rows in one of the worksheet, is there any way to correct it

Does anyone know why I might not be seeing the table option whenever I try to bring my link from google docs to excel? I keep on getting just the document option and will not populate my table with data. I appreciate any help.

Unfortunately to my knowledge mac does not support power query
I have problem to do this with Excel 2007, "The command you selected is not available from this shortcut menu"

ran into a problem here. when i did this, excel added tons of extra rows that were not in my google sheet document. how do i fix this?
it obviously thought that there was some sort of data in them.. i would suggest cleaning the google sheet first

I don't have the Get data from the web option. It only prompts to get data from html, which opens file finder.
sounds like you need a newer version of excel

you should be able to just upload the sheet to your google drive and most things should still work
DSMStrength but checkboxes doesn’t work but I added it manually and now problem is automatization when check one box doesn’t unchecking other,I can share you via gmail and you will see
@@jorikaish sure send me an email if you want. The checkbox functionality in google sheets and excel do not work the same way so you may have trouble trying to get this to work.

Unfortunately I've been informed that this does not work on mac as it does not have power query

Mac Excel does not have the option to click "from the web".
correct power query which is the software that we are using within excel is not available on mac yet to my knowledge.

Same happened to me. THe problem was I selected all document (sheets) which had a pivot table and that was the reason for the error. Then only selected 1 sheet and worked fine........But still for some reason when synching is adding 2 columns to the left and cannot find the reason.

Looks like this will work only in Office 365
Doesn't work with Excel 2010 at all. Nothing but errors.
Yes i do not think that power query was available in excel 2010, I would recomend upgrading your excel to excel 365.

how did you delete the columns i tried ctrl + shift + end or - and it didnt work
