    Love the chunky gold hood, I do prefer yellow gold. I do mix metals at times. Yes a video on lab grown diamonds please. Pearls are lovely.

      Thanks for watching! I also like mixing metals. I bought a pair of silver dangly earrings today because they were so pretty and shiny. Working on the script for the lab grown diamonds video tonight!

    The lab grown diamonds use an incredible amount of resources. It’s best to just buy vintage stones. You get the best bet for your money and as you said when you clean them they look brand new.

      I agree that reusing old stones is a better bet. I want to know how much electricity it takes to make a lab grown diamond!!

    If you are more into gold , as I am now , if you have some pieces that are silver like your Tiffany bracelet , you can always go to a jewelry store and gold plate them. It will last about 6 months if you wear it daily but you have to be careful of parfumes and ofcourse no shower with it. You can ask double plating to last longer , nothing will happen to your piece and you can replate it as many times as you want and turn into silver when ever you want. The cost is very low. Plus it is going to look like the real 18k gold Tiffany bracelet.I done that and I wear them more now with my real gold ones. ❤

      That is a good idea but I may just give it to my sister since I hardly wear it.

    I recommend you check out Lagos jewelry especially their pearl designs. They feel fresh new and reasonably priced (I know that’s subjective) but I can tell you the materials used are top notch.

    I favor gold, white gold, rose goldand black gold (black rhodium plated). (In that order). They all have a different vibe and dress up a simple outfit. I tend to get bored if I only wear on color metal.

      Rose gold doesn’t work for me. I will have to check out black gold. That is a new one for me.

    I own a black synthetic pearl necklace and I love to wear it with white tshirt and jeans ❤. Also I’d like to mention that I dress more modest than other women and I feel sad when I hear someone saying “dress like a librarian “ it sounds like judgment. It’s just different woman wearing different styles of clothing. Think about it like not all your audience is confident and sexy as you, or even they wouldn’t like to be. Love from Brazil ❤

      I will definitely be more mindful of saying dressed modestly vs dressed like a librarian. Thanks for watching.

    Lab-grown diamonds are DIAMONDS. They are chemically, optically, and structurally the same as natural diamonds. It's the same concept of tomatoes grown in a hothouse vs those grown outside in a garden: still both tomatoes. It's also the same concept as natural grown pearls vs cultured pearls: both pearls. Lab-grown diamonds will last as long as mined natural diamonds because they're both diamonds. They're not a trend; they're here to stay. If your tennis bracelet doesn't sparkle like it used to, take it to a jeweler and have it deep-cleaned - it's probably just dirty. And while you're there, ask the jeweler if the stones in your bracelet are diamonds, Moissonite, or cubic zirconia; because some unethical retailers try to pass CZ's or Moissonite off as lab-grown diamonds.

      They are diamonds. The stones in my bracelet are low quality and were treated to make them sparkle. Personally I won’t buy lab created diamonds again.

    • @user-ht4hk3rp2i
      @user-ht4hk3rp2i 6 місяців тому

      @@CathyMekondo There's no treatment that exists to improve clarity in a diamond - natural or lab grown. What could have happened is diamonds that were S1, S2 grades were used in your bracelet because the best stones are usually used in rings. The next best are used in necklaces, then earrings, and lastly, bracelets. Another factor is the cut: round stones can be full cut (58 facets in each stone) or single cut (17 facets each). That's probably why the stones in your bracelet don't sparkle because the more facets in a stone, the more sparkle. Many pieces of jewelry with multiple stones in the design use diamonds that are single cut.

      @@user-ht4hk3rp2i Sorry, I was unclear. It made the diamond color seem better. They appear more brown now.

      @user-ht4hk3rp2i 6 місяців тому

      @@CathyMekondo Genuine diamonds - natural (mined) and lab-grown - should not be changing color. The body color should stay the same, as should the clarity. The only way a diamond would change color is by being dirty and needing cleaning.
