im in love !!! it turned out stunning i was contemplating renting the tools from home depot...... i always loved apothecary cabinets and old library card cabinets but the prices r wayyyyy out of my budget . maybe one day... just curious , if u were to sell one what would u ask ??
How long did this take to make and about how much did materials cost? Looks like a lot of work but well worth the time and effort. I have always loved this style and hope to learn to use power tools so I can make stuff like this. Most of the tools I have, and my husband just retired so I am going to forward to him to put on our together to do list😊
Thanks! Because it was small it took much less wood. I had most of the wood left over from other projects so I’m not sure how much it would cost but the time it took was comparable to a large apothecary cabinet as all the same steps applied to this one as well. I would guess 14-18 hours. Thanks! :)
👍I've made a couple of cubbies without the drawers, that comes next! I pre-finished all the inside parts while avoiding the glue joints, made it a lot easier. Sorry, just watched the end, I see you did not apply finish. 🤐
No machine noises, Thank you. And nice work.

Thank you for responding! You do such beautiful work!
What is that big green machine called? Is it a lathe?
It’s a wide planer. Removed wood in tiny, precise amounts to get them perfectly flat
Thanks! That is correct, it is a large planer.
