My Grandfather was a Friend of Alfred Piccaver they often talked when Piccaver was in London of Jeritza , perfect Lady with a beautiful voice and a Good Actress, his favourite Soprano said Piccaver, so to my Father when he Interviewed Giovanni Martinelli in London, Martinelli had sung with Jeritza in London before her time at the Met and they were also big friends, he said she had it all, beauty grace intelligence and a Beautiful voice , he said it was a delight to sing with her.
