Looks are subjective but I like it. Face to face will decide for me. Love the electronics update. Been wanting the cruise control especially. Sure the Z light is gone but trying new can be good. Again - need to see it and ride it.
I mean the hornet is actually not even competing with this since that thing has 155 hp so it's more in the realm of a hyper naked and competes with the likes of mt10 but somehow it's cheaper than this one LMAO.The honda 1000 hornet sp might be the best bang for buck in the last decades not gonna lie, you get a CBR1000rr derived engine and loads of tech for the cheapest price on the market bar none.
Oh dear. Kawasaki have been very lazy as of late. The new Z1100 and Versys 1100 have reduced power ,no restyle whatsoever and remain fairly heavy. And now this. Yes, the electronics are welcome but the re-style is disappointing. And why have they not bothered to cut the weight. It was already a fair bit heavier than the competition and now it is even heavier. Why? What is wrong with Kawasaki at the moment? It is like they cannot be bothered to put any real effort into their bikes. The fact is their competition are much more pro active and make much more of an effort when they update their machines. I feel Kawasaki are going down the same route as Suzuki did a few years ago with little to no real effort with their bikes. The ZH2 should have had a restyle and lost some weight to make it more attractive to potential buyers but they have done nothing. I feel their sales will suffer for this.
Not many motorcycles released in the recent decade that AVOID the 2-tier so-called updates: more power, more amenities/tech, or both. Royal Enfield seems to be the only company that's avoiding this trap. Try making a heavily appealing motorcycle without the trap of amenities/tech and horsepower addiction. Just try. How would you do it? Capturing the essence of what makes a motorcycle a motorcycle, while making it simultaneously appealing. Such as unique engine/note/power delivery, fit/finish, ergos, and visual appeal that lasts. The engine development thing is where manufactures are falling flat. Why? Stupid regulation bureaucracies. And no, I am NOT meaning "just add power." Clearly there are other manufactures just adding power. BMW and Ducati seem to be doing that, modifying 1L or 1.2L engines to make near double the power they once did (you can't, you simply shift where the engine makes power).

It's just so goddamn bland. Still ugly, still heavy, still not as fun as an MT09. FFS, all they had to do was give it a proper aluminum chassis and hire a few actual designers. Instead they just dumped a bunch of off-the-shelf Bosch/Conti electronics on top of a mediocre redesign and called it a day. It really doesn't seem like Kawasaki (and Suzuki) are planning to remain in the motorcycle business much longer.
@@exothermal.sprocket Kawasaki 600 or 636 to be exact is already really good. Its got plenty of torque down low, power delivery is really linear and keeps climbing, a much better engine than their 900 because of weight and less sarifying power delivery

Good improvements, but it will be hard to beat the new hornet sp.
Yeah it still doesnt beat the hornet/ SP version.

This one sucks!! the 2024 looks awesome!
The headlight took a huge dive when it comes to looks and no more Z taillight. 🤮
Hope that Versys 650 get this changes like cc, qs & tft screen.
no the front suspension does not have compression adjustment
I wish someone would buy this monster for me.😁😁😁
As a Kawasaki fan, they just continue to dissapoint, looks the same, less how and more weight
Is there an automatic transmission option like Yamaha ? I would like it for city traffic 👍🏻💯
Updated but still way behind the competition
first look:an z500 with 4 exhaust pipe🏍

There's no such thing as z1100. It's a 1100sx.
@@superduperkid3143 Actually it's a 1000sx Ninja.
Concerning the new Ninja 1100, maybe they just think people who liked and bought the previous bike value midrange torque more.
Headlight not looking good
Yeah bro previous model was better than this
Definitely, my '22 Z9 headlight looks extra cool , especially on the street coming at you. Ultra white light.

So in other words, it will still be far more boring than an MT-09.
For you perhaps. Maybe you believe all motorcycles on earth should have 3- cylinders. What an outcry there would be.

I'm an MT-09 owner. I had a Z900. I see the merits of both.

A failure. Still a worthless pillion seat, same engine, ugly as hell.
You're not among the Indian customers where this machine has been a top seller. I guess.
Upon studying this bike more I have changed my opinion. I will test ride one in March to see.
