Sounds like something I recently went through. I really care about this person but it's more of a family connection than a lover connection. I think. I mean I love this person as a human and I really like spending time with them but I don't know how he feels about me at all. He told me that he has loved me for a good number of years. That I was the one that got away. Now he's the one that got away from me. He's got someone and I absolutely respect that. I have a letter from them that I haven't opened. I'm in the midst of a lot of big changes in my life right now. I need to focus on that. I will continue to share connection in spirit and the ethers till I get through this change. Then I'll open it and move forward from there. If they can face me or not. That's okay. I really wanted them to know that through and beyond any past issues we had/the trauma bonding, I love them very very much.
