As things progress there will be more than enough work for the two of you. I hope this series goes on at least as long as Haut Beyleron. I seriously doubt I'll get bored of it before then.
And you should consider selling that green house and getting open air gardens. You get far more options with those
Adding contracts to the map might be a great way for you and chainsaw to pass the time and keep busy
Just a thought that would spice up these early videos when you guys don't have much to do, you could both take on a big contract. It will rake in a lot of money and with both of you doing it it will take much less time. A big silage bailing contract would be pretty neat to watch and it would only be once in a while until you guys outgrow doing contracts.
There's water even closer, there's a pond right beside the gate of the barley field that Chainsaw harvested.

There are 2 ways to complete remove weeds while using a direct drill.
1. Spray with herbicide just after you seeded (and ONLY then) it also changes the ground texture and it's far easier to spot missing bits
2. Wait for the first growth stage and then use the Hoe instead of your weeder.
Nice clip to include the Fendt in traffic, really gives you an idea of HUGE that thing really is.

You could have the two or three extra people you were thinking of having, doing contracts if there isnt enough to do or dont have enough machinery.
Small engines especially old ones are si cool, I was out and bout the other day and came across a smallish very old looking riding/seldom propelled mower..it looked really cool and the owner was nice enough to start It up for me. It sounded awesome!!!

Always do the harvesting contracts because you get paid from some of the crop after the contract is complete.
at the end of the series (Haut-Beyleron) you should give us the savegame download so we can play it :)
also another nice mod for Haut-Beyleron series is the Beekeeping mod from ModHub
I think if you keep adding contracts, you will have plenty of work in multi-player. Just have to Take on contracts when you have down time..you can use the rental stuff on your own farm too if there is something you need and a corresponding contact that matches your could do what Mr sealy P does and pur down a water spigot right beside the greenhouse. I think there is a modded one that costs a few hundred dollars. With a garden hose. Maybe have guests come and do contacts to help you out daggerwin. They can let the equipment out and run a bunch of contacts to help you out with some extra money. ROLEPLAY idea would be a friend coming to stay at the farm and getting a job to help pay the bills. Eh whatever I'm sure you have it all under control man.

Can you activate multiple contracts at once? If yes, you could use workers for the contracts.
No sadly, you can only have one contract active at any one time
Yes, you can have 3 contracts at once. (It was a bit bugged in the early days not allowing you to have 2 diffrent types of contracts, might be what @Tony Schulz is refering to)
You can have 3 at a time and still profitable if you set workers on the fields with all buy options off.
I set up a map where I hire workers to do jobs on farms, I supply the vehicles and tools also, and I made about $85,000 in the first day with about 6 or 7 jobs all up.
@@SabbathKiwi Yep, exactly my point. They don't have a worker limit so they could do a few contracts at once. The series is good but kinda slow for now.
If you are on PC there are two different contract mods that allow you to refresh for more contracts and to accept and run as many as you want at once. I often have 5 AI crews working different contracts, that, in fact, is the center of my current gameplay. I have done every contract offered on a 4x map for 4 years running now (though the contract bug has thrown me a few curve balls...)

I do like the idea of contract work. I do those when I don't have much to do or anything to do on my farm. besides, it's (kinda) fast money for other, more needed purchases for the farm.

Not bad however Daggerwin have you considered a survival challenge type of competitive multiplayer but small tractors only. On a relatively big map with small fields not much cash to begin with and let us see what farms both of you will create and let’s say the first person to reach a quarter or half a million in the bank account without selling machinery is declared the winner? You could choose a blank map or a map with fields the choice is up to you with chainsaw.
That lag would drive nucking futs 🤣

I personally like using wheeled tractors
Multiple farms that help eachother is co op so dont give up on that play style, big servers that have a max player limit that can send out contracts to all the other farms at there own price point is what i dream of in farm sim

Oh, Daggerwin...NEVER mix crops in a greenhouse! You bring down production x3!!! It doesn't really matter which crop you grow, but only grow 1 per greenhouse!

For greenhouse just buy a tap you place next to it for free water makes more sense than traveling back and forwards all time
daggerwin you should make your own sever for the co op
you should use GPS mod more it makes jobs more efficiant and quicker

I have a question, why do you not use gps in any of your series? I notice chainsaw uses it in most his series but you don’t not, any real reason?
When I start a coop series with my dad, we add in a bit of extra equipment and a field or two. It’s about the only way to keep things busy enough to be fun.

Hey dagger, could you please play on the map called Gelderland for competitive multiplayer? There are multiple farms on the map.
You could use the contracts as a means of getting a “temporary” tractor. Do the contract and just let it stay active (even when finished, just don’t collect the money yet). That way you have a better tractor for “free”. I understand if you consinder this methode cheating.
The game won't allow you to use contract equipment for anything other than contracts.
Dongorgen is correct. You can run other contracts with borrowed equipment but you cannot use it on your own fields.
Daggerwin do you know of any modder that takes suggestions?

When you go on and make it public so people can join will it be pc only
When you do switch to competitive, maybe get on your discord for helpers and you each get 1-2 people per session for help. Rotate your online help for fairness, but only of you have enough machines without extra leasing. No helpers if you have online help, helpers are ok of you don't have any real help.
I am sure you already tried everything but how is your mobile connection? A Twitch streamer I watched actually started to stream via his mobile phone (with a big data package) after he found it to be much more stable.
Is it just me or does Chainsaws model look a bit like Olly from Olly's farm
The lag issues are most likely down to server ram. My guess is you are using a server that has "slots" instead of dedicated ram. You need at least 2gb of RAM to run a server, though it would be better to have 4gb or more.
The servers that sell "slots" instead of dedicated ram tend to sell "slots" then they can over subscribe their servers while still being able to claim you have what you pay for, which you don't.
When will the map be released? Or where do I get it?

Not the best series this and I'm only being honest which daggerwin obviously wants. Just found it boring that's all and dosent feel like multiplayer. I love all the other series I watch em everyday amd re-watching some but summat about this one, don't know if it's map or what
Farmsim guy does a great multiplayer with argsy on no man's land.
That really feels like multiplayer. Probably because they both talk....

Personal Opinion: I found your competitive series boring. It was just a normal series with Chainsaw occasionally in the background. I think you started this farm too small. You should have had more land and equipment, thus giving you guys more jobs. I think you're correcting this problem with contracts, but for future series don't make it a start at the bottom scenario.

I think you should ditch this series all together. Game doesn't run smooth, you guys don't verbally talk to one another and it's just not that enjoyable to watch. I still do watch it bc I like your videos and channel just don't particularly like this series.
