Thank you; this was helpful. One point I would like to add however: We are all human, and therefore all make mistakes from time to time. Some are less acceptable than others, but at the end of the day, it's all about accountability and how you recover from those mistakes. Perfectionism is "goals," but it's also important to be realistic. :)

Yes, I did not absorb the idea to say that I have never made mistakes but it is my character that shines through when I can accept when I have made an infrequent mistake and it is how you handle it that makes you better and smarter for it.

This is great as I am stepping down from 20 years in management to an admin role and although I can do the work and have been told that I' m overqualified, I still want to do well in the interview. I struggle with "I'll never let you down" though. LOL . I give my all and strive for excellence but that's a huge statement. But I'll try it.
No one is perfect. I agree with you. You can't say, I will never let you down. At least, not on purpose.
I don’t like that statement either, I like the more truthful statement you won’t regret hiring me.

I simply would not believe someone who said that. Everyone makes mistakes - it is being able to fix them and/or minimise any negative impact that is the key thing. Perhaps say, 'very rarely'. Other than that, great video!
Believe me you do not want to say that during an interview. Even if you have to make up a mistake, do so. Employers want to see if you ever took accountability and if you learned from it.
His mistake for anyone wondering would be (working for a person/company who does not appreciate or accredit the work he does) so there for he leaves and finds a better one , this time knowing what to look for ..it’s not always the employee who makes mistakes.

To say you never made a mistake is a lie. Everyone makes mistakes. So I would not advise anyone to say, they never made a mistake in their previous roles. You can say, I have always strive to do my best to accomplish the goal and learn from any mistakes that may have occurred. You want to appear human..not like a robot. (AI)

Would you please suggest the embassy’s "investigative Assistant" interview questions too...
Here are the Investigative Assistant Interview questions I recommend you prepare for:
1. How would you best describe your investigative style?
2. Why do you want to work as an Investigative Assistant with us?
3. Tell us about your most challenging investigation?
4. How do you feel when a case is resolved negatively.
5. Describe a time when you had to complete a task under pressure.
6. Describe a time when you failed.
7. Is it more important to be able to work alone or as part of a team as an Investigative Assistant?
8. What skills and qualities are needed to be a great Investigative Assistant?

I forgot to provide feedback shortly after. The interview went well, I was surprised that they asked me the exact same questions. Only about 2 questions caught me off guard 🤭 but this video helped me alot in my preparation. As a result, I received an email to get my security background checked, no offer email yet. I'm remaining hopeful

I disagree about the fact an EA must be available all the time. Come on, they have a personal life and a family as well. It's a very bad advice that can make them taken advantage of by bad managers.
I’m not saying available every minute of every day, but if a company needs to get old of an EA to answer a quick query, even when they are off, why wouldn’t they respond? Do you understand the level of responsibility an EA has? It has EXECUTIVE in the title for a reason.
The answers are so very generic. I suggest using specific examples to demonstrate abilities and skills. Also, don't ever say you "have never made a mistake in your previous roles." That is a dishonest response. Is there anyone who can honestly say they have never made a mistake in their previous jobs? The important thing is what you have learned from those mistakes.

Been hiring EAs for years. Anyone who claims they have never made a mistake in a previous role is simply dishonest. That, comment will lose you the opportunity. EA’s are human and mistakes get made. There’s no such thing as a perfect person.
Some of these responses don’t flow, conversationally, in a natural way.
