    Scale! I see you; bringing the new year in with the the flood. I can't really get online like I want to now, I'll bring you up to speed when I can. Happy New Years!!!

      Looking forward to it! FL Studio 21 is the reason for the season though. Going to slow down back down after dropping so many videos so quickly. I dropped like 2-3 months worth of content in a few days 😬

      @@ScaleAudio Scale I've been scared to use my computer, I finally decided to do so, but around the new year, I was cleaning my computer, and a heat sink that was attached over top of some chip, one of the corners popped up. Of course I messed with it til the whole thing came off, and the computer would not stay on for more than a minute or 2 before cutting off. In any case, it's not my cpu heat, but whatever it is, it's right next to it, between main cpu anc graphics card. I have a piece of glass and a 2lb piece of metal on top of that holding the heat sink down, so my cpu can run. It's a rage II motherboard, first gen i7, still holding Its, even on one leg. So it's running without shutting off now. I haven't been wanting to think about this repair. I took out my old XP laptop, that I have a digital interface for, a 1616m, so it was nice to get in there and clean my old XP laptop up. It has FL 4-8 on it., I think I can install 10 on it. I vaguely remember installing it, then taking it off for some reason, which I hope was lack of space. It has like a 60 gig harddrive, but it's still kicking. I have a program for it called ebooster, it would allow the to add Ram to my computer via usb, it tells you how much free space you got on your usb, you tell it how much of it you want to use for ram. So my usb ends up having a pagefile on on it. Usb's have got better since then, so one usb can give me a good amount of ram and extra storage space. I hooked up a old monitor, an external keyboard, and a mouse, closed the lid on my laptop, and now it's just as comfortable to use as my other machine, so now my XP monitor and be on the desk right next to Windows 10, laptop no where in site, but it's not in storage anymore, it's back in the game; it was buried for years. I have old music on it, so interesting how things are positioning themselves. I lost a loved one too, someone I hadn't seen in a long time that I wanted to talk to again. So that zapped me for all the energy for the things I was doing at the time. I just couldn't do the type of thinking I was doing, where I was making connections between a lot of small details. Slowly but surely though, something is forming. Like maybe a year ago, I decided to build my own Isovox both. I just look at the dimensions they gave, made the necessary calculations I needed to make, and made it. I didn't have the same resources as them, so the stand for it is a square made out of pvc, had to lock the joints with screws, the box is made out of homasote, which is a sound proof board you can buy at home Depot for around $45. We use to use it in Art School to tac our artwork on it. A big sheet of homasote would be nailed to the wall, you could then tac your heavy paper to it. When you got a heavy paper, your work surface doesn't have to be smooth like if you were writing on notebook paper. So I made this box, I got thick mattress foam in it and some small blankets between some of the foam, and it works, my sound and voice is isolated from the inside and out, which is actually why I built it, because I did not want to disturb others. I made the lid too, that closes behind you. But yeah, they also use homasote in houses, to sound proof floors and walls. I got 2 songs written, and I feel a 3rd one coming. When these songs come, they typically have been taking about a month to complete. The first one got finished over multiple instrumentals. Because I wasn't ready to record to an instrumental I onwed completely, I took the approach of writing and learning the song by heart, to increase my performance skill level, to where I can get longer and better takes, and possibly even a one take recording, by knowing and practicing the song, and I'm scared to death of these songs too, but I digress, I do enjoy them though. I have been scared to run this machine, but I left it on all night the other day by accident, with that mini hour glass, and metal weight setup up, and it was still running when I cameback; granted my computer has to lay on it's side now. I scared I might make things worse, if I try to fix it right now. Sometimes you just try to fix things to soon, because you didn't really switch into that gear. Like my mind wasn't in that gear, when I was cleaning my computer with a TOOTHBRUSH, and one of the pins on the heat sink 🤣. Anyway Scale, when you get a chance to work on that video, this site my help, "playgroundai" it's a dot com website. Just learn how to use it, and use it in google chrome so you can use the inpaint feature, what you create there is royalty free, and you can have it make you an image in a way where the person is easy to extract, like chroma key, or png's with transparent backgrounds. You can try the term PSD Cuts, or PSD Cut in your prompts, that's what graphic artist sometimes call them, enough so that if you type in psd cuts in a search engine, you'll see the transparent results. You can even make yourself a whole bunch of new type of thumbnails, by loading up your picture, masking everything out of your picture except your face, and have AI make a new image staring you. You know after I know you've got the message it's going to self destruct, I be talking about a lot of stuff not necessary intended for everybody else at the same particular moment, may even be phobia 🤣, but big progress in the 2023, I'm still wit it.

      @@freestyletherapythe chip is probably your southbridge. There used to be 2, the nortbridge and southbride but the nortbridge is part of the cpu now on most motherboards. The north and south bridge are actually where the term chipset for computers came from. You might type in southbride heat sink repair and find some good info. Sounds like you’ve been busy and had a lot going on. As for that video I’ve been mad busy and at a stand still. I busted out the FL 21 UA-cam video’s because of time constraints on it being a hot topic. I actually built a server workstation and am in the middle of building infrastructure for a research project, on top of my full time job, and learning different coding and scripting languages for work and use on my server. Also been working on more IT certifications, and balancing a relationship. UA-cam is top of mind but hasn’t been a priority so sorry if it takes a minute to make progress on that video. I’ve been failing to give time to a lot of people because I have to pick and choose what gets the little time I have 😬

      @@JPort561 The navigation gets better over time. Rough at first for sure. They added a new AI stem separator though which is sick! I don't have any videos on it but I'm sure somebody does. I used it to pull animal sounds out of some footage and it worked beautifully.

    please Please make up load for kontakt routing in depth , in Fl studio
    cause when I'm using midi out for multiple channel , there is no way to control or preview each sound from kontakt wraper in my knowledge . every time I click kontakt wrapper ,it's stock in one sound from channel 1 which cause impossiable to control or twick other midi out . Ive been serching through youtube almost whole , but not tobe found

    • @ScaleAudio
      @ScaleAudio  Рік тому

      You need to have a midi controller that allows you to change midi channels. If you have a controller with that function you can preview from Kontakt directly.

    May I ask why you stopped uploading a year ago?

    • @ScaleAudio
      @ScaleAudio  5 місяців тому +1

      Legit question. Before my FL Studio 21 videos, I was actually shooting videos in hotels because I was homeless. My FL Studio 21 videos (like this one) were in an apartment I couldn't afford. I took a hiatus to concentrate on my career which led me to buying my first house! I'm actually in the process now of getting back into UA-cam. Hope this answer sufficed your curiosity. God bless!

      @@ScaleAudio It did, appreciate the insight.
      Very glad to hear that! Is music production your career or just a side thing?
      And random question, why are u wearin the same purple shirt in all your thumbnails? 😂 I mean it's a nice shirt but damn

    • @ScaleAudio
      @ScaleAudio  4 місяці тому +1

      @@MixtapeMessiah92 LOL! I took all my thumbnail pictures at one time to try and be efficient 😂. I don’t even fit that shirt anymore! As for the career question, music production is a side thing. Besides the few dollars I get from UA-cam a month I’ve made almost no money from music. Have just enjoyed sitting in front of my DAW since I was a kid.
