I scrambled to get as much of the gold sigs I could before reprint, I now need just 2 SPs (1 Booster & 1 TD) to complete the set. I held off from acquiring SECs because I wanted to see if they would also be silver sig or not in the reprint. I anticipated no change on the SEC and was correct which means a drop in prices for SECs. Just need two more SECs at the right price to finish. People are listing Silver sigs for what golds used to sell, but realistically no one is going to buy them at those prices. I do anticipate Gold sigs to still go up in value in the long term. In terms of the reprint, there was some buyers the first week or two, but it died off real quick compared to initial release. There are so many anticipated sets coming out in JP and EN that people are saving for.
I've been trying to complete a English Azur Lane master set myself so I've been keeping an eye on SP prices on Discord and Facebook as well. The Gold Signatures have been slowly creeping up in price but it seems that the people are expecting to sell Silver sigs at Gold prices right now which I find insane. I fully expect the Silver price to drop to around 60-70% as there would be less demand even if it does seem rarer from less supply. Will definitely be interesting to see how it goes in the future. Yeh about 50% for silver seems fair but yeh I think the fact there’s sooo many SPs has made this difficult to even find comps and people are just listing at whatever price they want. Will definitely be an interesting one to check later down the line. Thank you! 🙏
The Baltimore SP is unreal. So hard to find, and SO EXPENSIVE. I wish I could get one so I could display her next to my Baltimore figure. These videos on price comparisons are really good btw! it does give you an idea of how supply and demand in Weiss works, and then in some rare cases SPs like Aqua from Hololive, absolutely rocketing in price because of her planned graduation.

Thank you for the video about this topic, I was looking forward to it. I agree, I also can't find pretty much any videos online of people opening the english reprints. It's interesting because in the future it might be that the reprint SP are actually more rare than original run because less people opened it. Some people are probably hoarding the reprint master cases and the lack of wide news about this reprint also don't help. Pulling any specific SP even in silver is equally hard, I think it's possible silvers will hold their value down the road. I opened 6 boxes and pulled Bremerton SP :) It's such a fun set to open. In my opinion we should open it as much as possible now when it's available. Because it's only a matter of time when this will be gone from shelves.
Yep thats the interesting thing... I sold about 50% the volume of the reprint compared to the original... so in terms of my sales alone that would make the silver SPs rarer. Now of course that doesn't apply globally but I think if I had to make an educated guess there probably is lesser reprint around. However although rarer it doesn't always later down the line it will be more expensive as everyone would have to then agree silver is rarer and deserves the high price tag. It's very interesting to think about either way!
I love the set with gold and silver! I would have went crazy with buying Azur however money isn't infinite. When Weiss announced the Bunko Vol 2 and Nikke I diverted my funds to making sure I get a case of each one of those.Then tack on Cases of OP in September and November. Lastly to top it off the dreaded Christmas is soon after all these crazy releases. Once I sell my OP cases I'll then look into maybe getting back on the Azur kick but it'll probably be more expensive by then
