- GMC just revealed their impressive 2500 HD AT4x AEV Edition with a rear locker, Multimatic dampers, skid plates, 35" tires, AEV front and rear bumpers and aluminum 18" AEV wheels. Is this ready to become the ultimate HD overlanding truck?

GMC HD AT4x AEV Edition = the vehicle I'd daily drive if I won the lottery.
Us too LOL
There are much better options for daily if money isn’t a factor

I am holding you to the "you can easily fit a 37-inch on here" statement.
Im Running 35's on stock Denali hd
Love this truck but needs nicer rims and a 4 inch lift standard.
I JUST BOUGHT THIS EXACT TRUCK! ALL BLACKED OUT THOUGH! I CANT WAIT TO GET IT
Hey Scott, thank you for the video. I have been a fan of Expedition Portal for long. I have a suggestion to make. Posting these types of videos and Podcasts all on one channel usually does't work well as podcasts tend to get less views which confuses the algorithm. It would be a good idea to split Expedition Portal in two channels. One for podcasts, and one for hands on overland related videos like this one.
Just though I'd let you know of my thoughts!
That is a kind insight, and appreciated. We have considered that, posting the Podcasts to the OJ channel.
from the phillipines love this car but its too expensive
3500 AEV Edition?
According to one dealership I spoke with it will be offered but nothing on the GMC Truck website yet.
How do those bumpers hold up vs salt / rusting ?
Can this come with a plow prep ?
Is this color sterling metallic?
AT4x means front & rear lockers + Duramax diesel engine= Jeep killer
👍👍👍👍
100k?
Unfortunately probably that or more. The 1500 aev is about 95k. With the gasser it’ll be less but expect like 110k with the duramax.
110k easy. 115k fully loaded?
It’s just an AT4 with better shocks since it doesn’t have a front locker. 💩
Power Wagon
The unreliable Fiat Chrysler version of this. They don't even offer it with a Cummins which is the one and ONLY reason to buy a Ram. Without the folks at Cummins letting Ram ride their coat tails, those garbage trucks would be a thing of the past.
Bad camera/video quality
