    This video is amazing. I used it to show how the heel hooks and other leg locks affect the different ligaments of the knee.

      ACL grade 1 sprain

      10 years ago both ACL and MCL, gladly I have been able to do most sports just fine without needing a surgery. Now I'm looking for educational videos to learn how to use my knee right so I can prevent any further damage. This was very interesting, I'm glad you covered the multiple ligament ruptures and showed the possible movements it takes to cause such injury!

    I got kicked in the knee while playing soccer and it hurts to bend the knee but I can walk, and I'm hoping the pain is from the cut that I got on the knee and not from bone or ligament damage.

    • @healthdecide
      @healthdecide  Місяць тому +2

      It’s good that you can walk, but pain while bending your knee could still indicate a deeper issue beyond the cut, like a bruise, sprain, or mild ligament strain. Watch for swelling, instability, or worsening pain, which could suggest ligament or cartilage involvement. If the pain persists or worsens, it’s a good idea to see a doctor to rule out more serious injuries. In the meantime, rest, ice, and keep the wound clean to prevent infection. Take care!

      You will lose your leg
      Lol just kidding, if its a complete tear itll just stay that way until you do get set the surgery. Surgery will probably incolve doctors taking a piece of your hamstring muscle or from a cadaver and use minamilly invasive method to insert it and attach it to your bones replacing the acl that you tore. Alot of people do excercises that strengthen their leg muscles like quads and hamstrings because these can regain the stabilty of the knee.so if you can start working on that

    hey, after ACL and meniscus surgery i had a ski injury 1 year later, my LCL got extended very hard but not torn completely. after it healed and i got very strong again i can still twist my knee inside like a dislocation (but not) and im scared to come back to surfing, any suggestions?

    • @healthdecide
      @healthdecide  9 місяців тому +2

      It would probably be worth it to follow up with your doctor or physical therapist who could help either assure you or provide further rehabilitation insight. The LCL has a good blood supply and should be able to heal effectively, but timing can vary, and if related to other surgeries - imaging may help provide a better picture (pun intended) of your knee health.

    • @razravid123
      @razravid123 9 місяців тому +2

      @@healthdecide is it possible that the LCL got over extended permenantly and if so is it possible to replace it by surgery?

    • @healthdecide
      @healthdecide  9 місяців тому +4

      @@razravid123 Your doctor should be able to inform you of the grade of your injury and check for stability in your knee. Even with a severe tear, it is usually repaired, not replaced. Healing times can very, sometimes a knee brace can be helpful for added stability if you are worried about side to side movement.

    Im here cause of my Knee ligament sprain after i got hit motorcycle accident few weeks ago, im suffered pain specially for a stretching move

    • @healthdecide
      @healthdecide  Місяць тому

      Sorry to hear about your injury! Knee ligament sprains can take weeks to heal, especially after a traumatic accident. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE) can help with swelling and pain. Avoid stretching or movements that worsen the pain. Consider seeing a doctor or physical therapist for proper assessment and a recovery plan to prevent long-term issues. Wishing you a smooth recovery!
