You can use the chest beside the man in the hunters guild without the hunter level and Instead of taking it to ardy. Just walk down the path below the hunters guild to the docks. Take a boat to Aldarin and sell the eclipse wines in the wine shop for 700gp each. The price will never change.

what's the best way to get from 1 to the hunter requirement on a new HCIM? not sure what the best way is nowadays :) appreciate it

Probably birds and butterflies in Piscatoris (NW of Tree Gnome Stronghold) & Eagles Peak quest should take no time at all. Could switch to swamp lizards after Eagle's Peak quest

I'm fairly certain you don't need 46 hunter to get to the wines, it's just to go downstairs into the rumour area itself.
A better place to sell the wines at Sunlight sanctum in aldarin, which buys it for max every time and you can sell in bulk, can make about 200-250k a hour at level 3
