This is why it's so important for cops to have cameras NOT only to protect victims from bad cops...but also to protect innocent cops from people trying act like a victim.

@@ARockRaider Nearly all have body cams and want them. You must be amazed by the few stories from liberal news that may or may not be accurate. This is the kind of crap officers deal with all the time and they also deal with Monday morning quarterback liberal society trying to defund them.
@@thomasnew8606 I have seen plenty of raw video where the police are clearly in the wrong every step of the way. One channel to look up for more examples then you ever wanted to k own about is Lack Luster, sometimes it starts with a person being slightly suspicious (filming from public property) and ends with police being belligerent and making false arrests. One example an officer arrests a man for DUI after he blows 0.00 The officer said "I smell alcohol" near the start (a lie) and then once he got the 0.00 the officer says "must be pot" When they are doing good like they do here (or many of Doughnut Operator's videos) you will have a hard time finding someone more pro-police then me. But when they pull over a drunk of duty cop doing over 100mph and sound like they just lost a puppy because they have to charge him with something? Well, that's a problem.
My guess is this is a case of in for a pinch in for a pound. I would bet money that he’s an ex-con who was illegally armed. So he tried to John Wick his way out of the situation.
why? The reality in our current society is a nightmare for most men. Most are addicts who are criminally inclined or worse, and they have brains that haven't fully developed from abusing drugs both prescribed and otherwise(like weed) from so early on in their life. Yes, abusing marijuana when you are 12 is not healthy and not the greatest idea for a young, developing mind. But it will get much worse. There is nothing to live or fight for or identify with in our culture. Everyone is not gay, contrary to what TV and media claims. Human beings need a sense of purpose and we lack the basic things that give people this. Culture, civic duty , family etc etc When society can longer promise young men a family and a living wage, what do we exist for? Why should they care about their life or anyones life? Then you pair all of this with the lack of discipline most kids are exposed to...and its a perfect storm. Stuff like this is becoming common and we will see more of it as the USA devolves into Brazil. Arming yourself and getting away from cities is a great start to avoiding a lot of the upcoming political and social violence that will be ignored by law enforcement. Stay safe...and dont bother voting. Its all bS and it gives authority to the illegitimate system

@@jakethegreatest473 he should never have tried to arrest him or put him in cuffs over a legal knife on his side. The Walmart loss prevention employee states multiple times it was 2 males and then points out a long blonde hair woman, there's no way to change this. I don't believe this was the right couple she gave the description of and the other two most likely walked out. The Walmart employee needs fired and the police need to be fired.
For those confused why someone would act this way when the cops were just trespassing them from the store, trespassing charges require ID, and this guy had warrants.
if you don't wanna go to jail on your warrants, you'd think ya like, I don't know, lay low and don't commit crimes? it seems so easy but these idiots just don't get it and then next thing you know your laying on the ground bleeding out on the floor of a Walmart and still going to fucking jail
I think people are confused because any business owner technically has the "show me your papers" ability because they can trespass for whatever they like. If you go into walmart wearing a red shirt and the manager likes blue shirts, the manager can technically force you to show the cops your identification to get you trespassed. Since for this trespass they weren't told to leave the store initially by management. The officer asked the manager if he wanted them trespassed as they were leaving and as soon as she said yes, it turned into "Now you have to show me your ID" It shouldn't be that easy. It's even worst when you say you never been to the business before and the officer responds with "That's fine, the business still has the right to trespass you therefore I need your ID" There has to be another way to trespass someone without having to provide ID. This was a justified shooting and this is what you get for stealing, but a lot of people have serious conflicts with how trespass orders are dished out especially for some who claim they never been to the business before.
Ty, for that info. Makes more sense now. Also, I think he was humiliated by the officer telling him to get a job, etc., and that's why he started reaching. I think he was going to shoot that cop and run
Ok, so...he knows he probably has warrants and decides to carry a knife AND a gun while pulling a pretty obvious fraud at Walmart. There have been police officers killed when a criminal got out of a struggle, reached for his gun and shot the officer. The police were right to shoot him.

Agreed. They've seen too many films where the bad guy manages to fight off 15 cops with his feet and gets away unscathed. IRL kicks in pretty quickly for these people.
I want to start by saying that I completely Agree with this. Loss prevention should not intervene and this is exactly why because of the chance of armed criminals also they probably are likely to get aggressive if just store employees were present because they have no legal authority. Just to think about things in clear 20/20 hindsight, he more than likely resisted because the officers are the ones with the power to act on his warrants and penalize him for carrying a firearm. With active warrants he doesn't have a legal Concealed Carry permit so he is catching a firearms charge if he is searched, which once the officers find his knife and are escorting him out he is being searched when they get to the patrol car to get his information for the "No Trespass" order they are going to put on them. Again I agree that LP's should not be the ones doing this. Officers are trained and equipped to deal with potentially violent criminals.
@@SpaceRanger187 neither have you in a situation like that or you'd realize it's not as easy as it looks on tv. People with no real life experience have far too much of a mouth thanks to the internet. lol

For me, the biggest learning experience is how a person can be so deceptive, I would never have thought he was carrying. Also, he played the victim like most criminals.
I don’t understand why he escalated tho, if he never showed the knife and just got trespassed nothing of that would have ever happen they wouldn’t even know he had a gun and a knife on him.. pretty stupid to be honest for being a mastermind
@Gamepass Gamepass: Actually, he should've just left the store meekly the moment he was confronted by the LEOs because chances are likely they'd be satisfied in ending the encounter so quickly and easily. Since he challenged them and escalated the risks, they decided on issuing the No Trespass orders. He got himself trapped in a no-win situation. In having No Trespass orders written against the couple, they'll be compelled to present their IDs. Since the guy has outstanding warrants, he'll be taken into custody. He knew that, and tried to figure out how to escape. He's done once LEOs get his ID. This so-called "mastermind" chose to be shot. Maybe he'll rethink his strategy as he recuperates from his head wound ...

Its the same one if you were to imagine somebody trying to rob you at an atm. The "me or you" thought process. Not everybody has that level of respect for police, and they're not wrong for it. It's a primal world and will stay that way until the good guys stop shooting people and reckless drivers start driving responsibly. We all beed and die for a reason, and not so that there can be atrocities to rally behind. Its so that everyone knows a poor attitude has reprocussions. Nobody is exempt.
The thief may have been on probation or parole for other crimes and believed he had nothing to lose. Some people would rather die than be confined to a cage for most of their life. Wow, firstly bravo to the cop who played it safe after finding the first weapon. It's easy to think he was overreacting but he was 100% right. The guy really did have another weapon and he was prepared to try and use it. Secondly, this was very close to disaster. Had that guy pulled that weapon earlier, it might have ended up a multiple shooting. Thirdly, if he was prepared to do that to cops, what would he have been prepared to do to anyone else who got in his way? These cops took a very dangerous individual out of circulation.

nah, he already had outstanding warrants. The cops were gonna walk him out and then take his info, and at that point he would have been found with the warrants and arrested. The best thing to do without possibility of dying would be to be arrested and go back to jail.

Culture, civic duty , family etc etc
When society can longer promise young men a family and a living wage, what do we exist for?
Why should they care about their life or anyones life?
Then you pair all of this with the lack of discipline most kids are exposed to...and its a perfect storm.
Stuff like this is becoming common and we will see more of it as the USA devolves into Brazil.
Arming yourself and getting away from cities is a great start to avoiding a lot of the upcoming political and social violence that will be ignored by law enforcement.

The officer asked the manager if he wanted them trespassed as they were leaving and as soon as she said yes, it turned into "Now you have to show me your ID"
It shouldn't be that easy.
It's even worst when you say you never been to the business before and the officer responds with "That's fine, the business still has the right to trespass you therefore I need your ID"
There has to be another way to trespass someone without having to provide ID.

An initial trespass does not require an ID. A second trespass from the same property does because that’s when a crime has been committed.

Even if they could, you don't know if that will stop him or not. They are trained to neutralize the threat in the most effective way, and usually when that comes to firearms that's a center mass shot.
Honestly, I find a single head shot execution style to be a little off putting, but it did what needed to be done. Not to mention the man survived, and is in jail. So it did exactly what it was supposed to do, even in your scenario. One shot, stopped him, everyone lived.
The man was going for a gun (that had no serial number, so illegal), to shoot cops, with people around, because he got caught stealing. Why are you on his side???

To quote the legendary LAPD Deputy Chief Dwayne T Robinson “ I think we’re gonna need some more loss prevention guys”
That’s why they tell these loss prevention guys don’t chase these customers, you never know what they’re carrying.

I don't think tire's a lot of thinking involved...
This is why if you are in a position where you're defending your home and the burglar decides to flee, it may be best to let them go. In fact I'd be inclined to order them to leave. Attempting to detain them will place your life between them and freedom. IMHO it is better to allow them an avenue of escape and then let the cops try to chase them down.

They were going to let him go with a trespass warning, which means just that, there's no obligation to ID which is why the Walmart lady wanted to see his face.
He was going to be kicked down the road without showing an ID and without being searched, but he decided to get stupid.
@@LarsLarsen77 Thanks for that, I found that in the description! That changes the scenario in my mind. This dude wasn't some random thief.

I can't imagine I could do this let alone live with it afterwards, even though it's the correct move. Damn, this job is f**king insane sometimes.

What’s crazy to me is usually the people are actively committing a crime. This guy literally committed no crime. He was just getting trespassed. How is that worth losing your life over?
Did I just heard someone say"nice" 😂😂that was cold
It's crazy to think that this guy could've gone home and laughed with his girl on how lucky they are that the cops just let them go with a slap on the wrist knowing they had a deadly weapons on them the whole time.
He was booked on outstanding warrants.
When the detaining officers would have issued the trespass they would have verified his credentials and he would have been arrested. Still significantly better than getting shot, though!
No they would have taken his name and arrested him on the warrants.
He had multiple warrants. He would have likely gone to jail. I think he knew this and stupidly drew his line in the sand.
he did nothing wrong in the first place ya dumb fuck some old woman said she sore something on the phone and they had no other evidence then that which is not even evidence. they literally told him they are not arresting him because he did nothing wrong they just was going to trespass him because they wanted to and then the cop escalated it all by pointing out the knife which he was allowed to carry, he never did she till the cop pointed out the knife which again is a legal carry. and so was his gun. look with ya eyes and listen with ya ears and pull ya head out ya dirty stink hole.
It’s weird they don’t have proof of stealing though, like the manager happened to see something on the guys phone? Just seems like a weird situation overall

Fun fact, most headshots do not immediately kill people. As scary as that sounds it’s common for people to survive from anywhere around a few seconds to a few minutes. There’s been people who have fully survived head shot wounds where the bullet passed through a some of their brain, and went on to live some kind of life

As hard as some parts can be to watch for some people, I believe that this is how post-policing should be. Anytime anything crazy that could come back to bite them should occur, release full video of the event with minimal editing to protect innocents and victims identities.
And police have to stop talking to these people. They are LIARS. Nothing that comes out of their lying mouths should be listened to. Only give commands and the instant that command is not obeyed smash them into the concrete. As many times as necessary. Enough is enough.
