Can we talk about what they have done with StW?
In the latest blog post they said they put it out of Early Access today and that the Storyline is finished ( *which it defenitely isn't!* ) while stating that the game won't recieve any major updates anymore if any, at all. At the same time, they said they won't make it F2P like they have promised for the past 8 years now and having players who joined after the update not be able to get any V-Bucks. What they probably have done is:
-they saw that StW isn't nearly as profitable as BR as Save the World is rather lacking in replayability and major content
-instead of addressing that they would rather put out a bunch of new skins and major updates for br (which does make sense from a marketing perspective)
-they were aware of all the issues that people have addressed countless Reddit posts, Tweets, and Videos
-they thought it is irrelevant in comparison to BR and wante to leave it for dead, which is why it hasn't gotten _any_ real content updates in about 6 months
-they can't make it F2P or have it be a "V-Buck" printer (or even both) or else new BR players would "migrate" on release, maybe think that it is a good concept and want actual updates and fixes of major issue
-and it definitely is not in their interest to have a "faulty game" marketed in their glorious creation that is Fortnite, as that would be *bad pr*
So, as a last ditch "effort" (if you can call it an effort) they stop making cosmetics transfere between Fortnite and Save the World (they even changed the name to just "Save the World" and are naming BR "Fortnite") , they won't make any event content anymore and instead have all the modes rotate in and out of the pool, they don't make if F2P, they just ditch the story and leave it be while just calling it "done", they make new players not get any V-Bucks from the game, they try to make the game as inaccessible as possible for new players from Fortnite by giving them nothing in return like it used to, *and yet they still have the audacity to release a P2W Seasonal Battle Pass in a 20$ game!* Epic has shown that if a game isn't profitable they won't even make an effort into saving it. They did it with Paragon and they are doing it again. Just pathetic.

Hey Denver. Just to let you know, I’ve noticed that my ping went down by about 25 after this update. I don’t know if my internet was just struggling because I used to get thirty ping and then it went up to 50 and now it’s back down, but I think that epic may have fixed the servers a bit

I've been using Opera GX for like two months now. I deleted Chrome while ago. Faster boot, you can limit ram and cpu usage, cool visual and sound effects AND tells you which games are free. Very useful, would recommend. ACTUALLY AN AD I LIKE
