You’re not supposed to spray with water daily. I’m in a sisterloc group and that’s what all the certified locations are saying. (So, I only get my hair wet once a month when I shampoo) Water causes swelling and can make your locs puffy, shrink more, etc. I definitely was spraying my hair with water “for moisture” 3-4 times per week, but I have stopped! I’m happy I’m only two months locked and my hair didn’t swell or mess up.
I wasn’t spraying my hair everyday and I have to spray mine at least 2X a week because I have drier hair. My extensions were swelling and separating, not my actual locs. They’re basically locked at the ends
Love your hair! ❤. I was misting my hair every other day, and I noticed the same thing, my natural hair was starting to swell and actually get thicker than the extension. So far that hasn’t been a problem, but I keep my eye on it! And Yes, I plan on keeping mine forever (however, I may keep them just past shoulder length, and no longer!). So I will definitely be trimming mine. Thanks again for your wonderful videos. I love watching you!
Oh okay make sense now. Last video I watched you had taken your extensions out. When I saw QVR with your video, I thought they jacked an old video of yours 😆. Your hair looks good. I wish I had the patience to comb out the ends of my locs and add extensions.
First..I luv your locs. I've been loc'd 3yrs.I'm taking them out and getting micros. What length extentions do you have? I want Exactly what you have😂 QVR Afro Kinky Hair & All. *Hair Goals*
did you ever experience your roots being super thin and the extension sliding down? or did you experience losing locs due to the heaviness of the extension? if so, how did you thicken your roots?
I’m a little late and I’m so sorry if you’ve already touched on this but you mentioned going from 285 locs to 317. How did you go about splitting the loc after doing your two point rotation? Did it involve combing them out and redoing them? I accidentally married two locs in the beginning stages while interlocking and I’d love to divorce them lol.
How did you solve the problem of the extensions not being able to be retired because they're too big? Did you just make the extension way smaller/less bulky the next time? I want to do this but that was my biggest fear lol
I love QVR hair. Brought it on your recommended and love it. So soft. Quick delivery to the UK 🇬🇧 too.
Awesome!

Thank you ❤️ and I have 22 inches
Same😅
@Plentyymelanin where are you? Do you do other people's hair? I could be an Auntie if you only do family. 😆
@msdreatx NC
@@PlentyymelaninWhat part of NC? I'm in Fayetteville 😊
I had a question about some of my locs being bigger than other locs. My question has been answered in the last comment.
I wannnt my loc extensions to look like this😭😭! What kind of hair you used mama you’re hair looks so cute!
Thank you! I used Qvr hair
@@Plentyymelanin another question, some of my micro locs are bigger than others. is gonna be a problem with extensions? 🤣I’m asking a lot ik.
@flowd7451 It shouldn’t be. Some of mine are bigger, but I still used very minimal hair to add so they’re not heavy
Same girl QVR all the way
For sure
did you ever experience your roots being super thin and the extension sliding down? or did you experience losing locs due to the heaviness of the extension? if so, how did you thicken your roots?
I haven’t experienced anything other than slipping extensions before. My extensions aren’t heavy because I use less hair than my actual loc

Yes I took some out then redid them
@@Plentyymelanin thank you so much❤️❤️

I definitely use less hair
How long did you wait before taking them out? I’m thinking about extending mine temporarily.
Uhhhhh I might have had these 1-2 months. I ended up taking all the locs out
Love your hair🖤🤎💜
Thank you 🩵
