Bro, I really like the way your 788 getting used, it giving such character and texture details on the boots. I got those PL2 with that colorway and trust me it's not possible to keep them pristine white, whatever, mine are aging pretty much the same way.
However if you want to give them a fresh look i think maybe thin layers of Saphir cream recolor dye should work.
Also the clap in the beging of the vid was crazyy ahaha

wow! im the original owner of your 788z pair! I bought those back in 2013-14 when guidi quality was substantially better! Awesome to see them come so far down the pipeline and still look great!

im looking into buying a pair of guidi boots should i look into buying an older pair or just buy them new?
@@pissingman_4033 if you prefer new then that would answer it but when it comes to leather quality, particularly hand feel, the older (pre 2016/17) pairs fare so much better. Not to say current Guidi is shit but because of the massive increase in popularity you can imagine quality does decrease. I’m not sure if this is because of a change in ranch sourcing or what. But I would consider the quality difference significant

I would say stay true to size and if you’re in between sizes size up which is what I typically do as I’m between a 10.5-11 US!

Used is the best way! If you can find a pair in good condition it’s a great way to support the secondhand circular fashion market! If you have the money to spare buying new is a good option though, Guidi is worth the price :)

Hey! I’m a us 10.5-11 and go with 44 typically, however I recently purchased a pair of 995’s in a 43 and they fit snug but comfortable.
Do you add insoles in any of them? How comfortable are they without insoles
Very comfortable without insoles, I’ve never had to use any.

ID on the pants?
Is it hard to get black guidis in your size ?
Black guidis are relatively hard to come by for a fair price in any size, same for the cream color, but you can always take them to a cobbler and have them leather dyed to black super easy!
the blood one red has the sickest model imo get them dyed

I size up typically in the back zips. I’m a 10.5 so 44 is what I go with

The local cobbler I go to had those in stock if ur talking about the 788z, just ask to look at their lug half sole options

I’d recommend sizing up if between sizes, I’m 10.5 but wear 44 in guidi
If I’m a True US 12, what size would you recommend? I really don’t wanna buy these and have them not fit. I’m looking at the 796 right now.

Ay man did you ever get those 210's dyed? recently found a pair of PL2's for a steal but i dont like the color. Wondering if the dye process is worth it.
I never did, the dye process could easily be done by a cobbler, u could even do it yourself with some leather dye on Amazon.

I would recommend sizing up to a 9 (42) considering you’re in between sizes. Guidis in my personal experience tend to fit smaller.
