Ligi 26 aastat olen ma laval olnud... Vahepeal pikalt eemal oldud, nii mõnigi kord mõelnud, kas jätkata muusikuteed või astuda kõrvale ja ning otsida endale mõni uus väljund.. Täna olen tänulik neile, kes möödunud sügisel mind motiveerisid ning viisid kokku Elements Grupiga, kellega koostöös sündis pärast pikki aastaid kestnud pausi uus singel.
“We Could Have Been Beautiful” on minu karjääri eriline killuke - lugu, mis kõnetas esimesest sekundist ja pani proovile...- ja need noodid! Tagasisidet on tulnud Nikaraaguast Eestini, kuulajatele on see pala korda läinud ja minu tänu selle eest raske sõnadesse panna..

In the meantime, I have been away for a long time, so sometimes I have thought about continuing my music or stepping aside and looking for a new outlet. Today I am grateful to those who motivated me last autumn and brought me together with Elements Group with whom a new single was born after a long break.

I have the heart broken with this song. i never expected that a song candidate in Eurovision can wake me up a sort of emotions in my life. I've been remember my life and my story and my value. This song save me from the depression and suicidal thoughs and I cried. I'm so speechless. It's incredible in three minutes what express this song. Please Estonia choose Koit for your representant. HOW ON EARTH this amazing song did not win Eesti Laul!?? Koit had the best, the most memorable song this year. I'm not his fan ( I like Depeche Mode) but this song was just amazing. Very suitable for ESC. And beautiful video, too with great set location (loved the interior design... Vana Tallinn "product placement"? :) ). Kadri Voorand was my second choice. Sadly, none of them went through to the superfinals. A big disappointment. Had to have a glass of wine and candies to lower my distress level.

- no longer filling our days with fornications,
- no longer doing anything which GOD/CHRIST, our Maker, hates.

Ma ei saa aru miks peab kindlasti Uku võitma? Miks ta nii üles haibitud on? Uku on kena jne, aga Koidu laul on palju profesionaalsem. Siin on nii vokaal kui muusika paigas. Ma ütleks täiuslik. Kui live on sama hea, siis minu hääled tulevad kindlasti siia.

Kusjuures lugesin ühe välismaallase kommentaari Uku video alt, kes ka imestas et kas tõesti rahvale meeldib see lugu ja sõnas, et Uku lugu pole absoluutselt meeldejääv (tema sõnul läheks nädalaid aega enne kui refrään meelde jääks) ning sellisel igaval laulul kindlasti ei läheks eurovisioonil üldse hästi. Kusjuures nii Uku kui Koit mõlemad laulavad tunnetest, Koidu laulul on hingeline väärtus ja tugev meeldejääv sõnum, mis toob kindlasti mõnele pisara silma, Ukul tavaline ilusa videoga poplaul millesse eriliselt ei süvene. Uku laulul oli algus paljutõotav, aga refrääniga läks tema laev põhja ehk siis vajus täitsa ära. Muidu samas kommentaaris ka öeldi, et kas uku ei võiks pisut vahel ka kaotada? ja et ilmselt uku saadetaks eurovisioonile lihtsalt respektist 2020 eurolaulu ärajäämisetõttu ja veel palus, et eestlased ikkagi teisi valikuid ka eurovisioonile kaaluks.
