Sorry. I would never spend that kind of money on a guitar with such a cheap looking decal on the headstock. No pride in their name.

lol Gibson did it with the banner years. Even Gibson inlays start to seperate after ten years. Martin do decals on their regular d28's. Fender custom shops have decals. Todays makers are laser cutting a lot of it so not sure how much pride goes into that. It's a lot of money and cheap Yamaha FG800X can get you close to that sound for 400 dollars. But it won't get you there and it won't have that feel and look. The guys have to make a living and it's not cheap making guitars the way Alister does. Alister probably isn't prideful. Just passionate. Pride is not something I care for. That will be Gibson's downfall. There's only so many lawyers and doctors that can buy high end custom Gibsons. If you actually play one of these J43's, you will probably find any way you can to buy it.
