I’m not gonna lie I was blown away with this show. Everything I was missing came in the last episode so I’d give it 9/10 for sure
I really hope we get a second season of the show. It's probably one of the best video game adaptations we've gotten.

I’m curious how they will portray the tournament. There are various rounds and they are all death matches. The first season was cool because it showed aspects of the different games through game mechanics or storylines, factions from 2012, Sweettooth being crazy since childhood, like in small brawl and multiplayer/team ups in the last episode. Even the episode titles were a reference. Very well done. My only complaint was how slow it was. 10s all around except for pace which a 3 is generous, but I’ll give it an 8 overall.

Twisted metal will always hold a special place in my heart, it was the first real competitive split screen game back in the day. I used to rush home from school with my friends and we will have tournaments fueled with pizza rolls and tang…..peak gaming.
Twisted metal black is one of the best franchise from twisted metal history its completely deficted how dangerous the human psyche from derange serial killer to unknown entity like minion and black its completely explore every characters of it my favorite of all is the story of mr grimm and billy ray the junkyard dog

My favorite characters were spectre, Mr.slam, Mr Grimm, shadow, thumper, darkside, minion, and roadkill...don't get me wrong I loved each character in all the games but those one were my go-to's.
So.. your go to are, most of the characters in the game.. Good thing you narrowed it down for us
thoroughly enjoyed the show and honestly was not expecting much

Number 9 Axel, You do alot of talking about Axel but most of the footage is of Needles in the "Axel" car from TM:2012 and not of the man known as Axel.
Number 8 Dollface, She first showed up in TM3 Driving Darkside iirc. Dollface's Black ending does have her kill the man that put her in the mask... but the part you showed of her key hitting the floor is her not freeing herself from the mask and coming to love it as part of who she is now. She doesn't become a Vigilante and the Doc that put her in the mask in TM:2012 was Calypso because if you spell his name backwards it's the Doctor.
The more I watched the more you were getting wrong and I didn't want to sit here and pick apart everything you got wrong. This is coming from someone that's been a big fan of TM for over 20 years and I can still recall the details about these people better then what your were doing here after the last time I played any Twisted Metal game was TM:2012 in 2017
He goes by Sweet tooth now from the newer recon games(Black & 2012 PS3)
When video games actually cared about fun and the actual gaming community and put genuine effort into their games and good lore😂.... Not going to lie I really miss it 😭😞

Doll face came around in like point 3 or 4. As Sweet Tooth daughter that got away. She was one of my more favorite characters to play ask.

I enjoyed the show but feel the twisted metal elements were tacked on more than the plot was based on.
I feel like they were teasing alot maybe for season 2
They had to world build and character development before going right into the tournament. It would be kinda convoluted for new viewer's to jump in and understand. Also, the twisted metal games were convoluted as well. This made a lineal storyline.

In twisted metal 2012 Reaper was the name of mr grimms motorcycle and his gang name was mr grimm cause that was his dads stuntman name,I feel like you really didn't do your research for that one,the same with a couple of other characters, I feel like you needed more time to explain them better but other than that it was still cool seeing a twisted metal video
