Britt has always been such a natural talent at spotting from the very first videos when you guys were just getting started. Love to see you guys beasting now.
To be quite honest, Brittany and Kevin, y'all have a great teaching style and flow of information. It's not taking a sip from a firehose, but a steady stream of knowledge that can be digested and retained. I've watched y'all grow your own expiernece and I've been learning along the way with y'all. I've been watching for more than a few years now, and the Stepchild build has provided much inspiration for my own 2018 JLUR build. I'm out on the East Coast (Central Florida (Ocala)) so traction out here is scarce, but I've learned to make the most of what the trail provides me.
One thing that really helps to be a good spotter is by watching Britt do it. I'm confident I could go out on a trail and bring some one through the obstacles.
Happy to hear Brittany say, "put a rock here." One spotter, one voice. I have witnessed too many peoples' ego get them into trouble when you could get out, reassess your line and add a rock or two, or three or whatever. I'll add rocks rather than rip a hole in my door any day! Also, think of an "X" running between front and back wheels. One goes up and the other goes down. There was a spot in there where a rock under the back wheel may prop up the opposite front wheel. Math while wheeling, it's FUN! .. and safe!
Great video! The way Keven explained driving with both feet was perfect. I have tried to do explain this many times to others and just fall short. Now I have the words. Thanx Kev
Thank you! Been waiting for a few years for a spotting video. Y’all are awesome! Spotters literally make it or break it. The guys in my club are great, trust my life and my rig to them.
One of the hardest working Teams! Brittany has so much 4x4 crawling wisdom! Kevin / Brit will someday podium at koh🤞 (probly after Chris n Beck win it tho....✌️
Awesome video...great explaining and great showing...so informative....everyone learned something new...keep up the excellent work...eagerly awaiting your next video...Safe travels
This was so much fun! Great lessons and cool to see the mindset and thought process of how you approached the obstacles. Thank you for sharing the knowledge!
Lots of good info there to learn and that was only the video. I could imagine it’s a lot more being in person. As always you guys are doing killer things. Thanks.
Brit - you have a broken strut? It didn’t seem to hurt your shimmy at all..! Instructions on the fly, rocks to climb and stack, fenders to crunch - that was a tough classroom! Bec and Chris just as calm as can be. All I can see now is Red, Red, more Red! LiteBriteNationJellyPoopedOnTheBed!
Great stuff guys. I’m pretty sure I watch your content more than any other TV. I started watching you all about six months ago. Since, I’m not sure a day has gone by without my litebrite fill. Not sure what I’m going to do once I finish all episodes, I’m already panicking, lol. Props to your whole team.
Awesome video!!! Brittney you are a superb ground guide / spotter. Your verbal commands help Kevin get to the obstacles. Kevin you trust your wife and you should cuz she does a good job and you do a good job driving. Y'all are great team.
Happy Easter to you and your crew. One of the key things working with your spotter is Trust because they can see things that you can't especially when you don't walk the route ahead of time. At the end of the day it's all about having fun and not breaking shit to bad lol
Great lessons! I especially liked the information about torque and airing up to move away from rocks or trees. Two feet driving is great, unless you have a manual, then it becomes a bit more of trick.
0:02 That was an awkward rock placement spot. What a find / show. Good thing those are flexible tire-mud and sand slinging guards👍 When off in tight vehicle clearance situations, rarely have more than one other person, so low direction suggestion confusion. (The other person knows when to yell something like *STOP* ).(They know I do not see the hazard in the mirrors or down by the tires). 😊
I've said it once before and I will say it again.. I would Trust you with my life Britt, You are Amazing behind the Wheel and Even More Amazing in front of the Wheel.. Beautiful Skills also Kev So Smooth and Controlled Nicely Done mate. And Superb camera work from the beautiful people behind the camera.. Love you guy's Love from The Land Down Under
Kevin has a Brittany , his Genie in a bottle . Great advice on one spotter, it is so confusing when multiple people are helping... Jelly looks so comfy, she made me yawn 😁 ❤❤💯🤙
@@LiteBrite Yeah, it's so much more difficult to wheel in a stick, imo. I wish I could run a second transfer case in my JL to get SUPER low (like the Yota boys, haha). All the stuff Britt was talking about with trying to mitigate the "rocking back and forth"...nigh impossible with a stick. I'd love to hear/see a video from you guys about wheeling in a stick. There's no good content anywhere that I've seen.
Happy Easter You Guy And Everyone At The Lite Brite Nation! Great Job spreading the knowledge you guys! Hope I get join you one day! I’ll probably be the only XJ in the crowd like the 1 you had this time! 🤣 but he did pretty good! To be with all those well built Wrangler’s!
One thing I noticed was when Kevin was close to floping. Yall had people in the flop zone. I think maybe have a strap and pull from the other side. (If you have someway to attach a tag line.) Lots of good info though. Keep doing what yall are doing and building this sport.
Kevin, how did you train Brittany to spot you so good. I'm still trying to get a beer out of the icebox..lol she just slap me in the head. Keep it up y'all we only live once. Have fun doing it. Rock on!!
Happy Easter E3 fam!!!! You guys taking the time to teach others how to have fun and be safe and enjoy their rigs and push them out of their comfort zone to learn, Brittany and Kevin you are the best!!!!❤❤💯🤙
Hi guys! I love your channel and you guys even more I just bought my white wrangler about a year ago I call her Betty White I know I know! I hope this question isn’t to personal and believe me you guys don’t have to answer I’m not a poor man just put bigger tires on Ms. White and rims well!! That costs me around $3000 it absolutely floors me that you guys have tons of vehicles and all the parts you need … is there gold in the Utah hills??? Chris I tell you you seem to be such an awesome man not just because your a surgeon on vehicles but you seem to be honest and down to earth. Ps: Keep up the great work guys I’m sorry if I asked a personal question but man I’d like to have Betty White looking somewhere close to the StepChild 😜
So what do you do after you lock the rear, but then need to turn? How do you get the rear to unlock when it is under torque? I've had this issue climbing a snow pile and needed to turn at the top. The rear locker was bound up and I could not get it to unlock. There was no way to climb it. My old Jeep was a clutched locker, so it would unlock and would easily have made it.
Hi Kevin and Brittany- this is sort of a lame question, but is Bec and Chris related to you guys other then just good friends? Perhaps you have already mentioned the answer in one of your videos, but if you did, I missed it! I hope you guys had a good Easter weekend!
Hey kids! Another fun filled, informative outing! It's cool that you guys have these selective highlights of rocking lessons / do's & don't's. Now, it makes me want to sell everything, move out there (?) & buy a CJ rocker becoming one of the coolest group of people of this motor sport specialty! But; my passion into m'latter years are now? To buy a live aboard catamaran sailboat & go..., out there... Hummmm, maybe..? Love you guys, be safe out there. America First!

Excellent video editing with all the different cameras going. Very fun :)
In todays video Kevin will do Kevin things.
Very awesome! Thank y’all for all the videos! 👋
What an awesome video. Learnt so much. More like this with the tips (like no lockers downhill) would be fantastic! Love your work!

Can you guys do a solid video on when one should use 4H vs 4L and all that fun jazzz for the guys and gals just getting started?
Awesome trip
Great video. Impromptu lessons are the best.
Good video good job with teaching

Love this video with all the information you guys are giving everyone watching
Wise advice. Thanks for telling them to use winch. Airing or deflating tires in severe angle jams saves body damage. Be safe.

I generally tell people to shut up unless im about to really mess up. And often do the opposite of what people tell me. Keeps things interesting.

Just an idea. Get Jelly a rubber stamp of her paw to add when y'all sign anything. I think it would be a cool addition.

it's never the vehicle fault it's you're driving it's always the driver.
Fun stuff!!
Brittany, Dd you recently hurt your knee?
I spy a knee brace?
Happy Easter to you guys!
Yeah, I had twisted it while hiking on the trails the day before this video was filmed.
Keep hearing Kev talking about a 2-door… spill the beans, when is it getting added to the family?
Are you guys getting a lifter tick?
