Loved this quick tour Jake. These looks at the events is what hooked me to you way back when, we don't all have the ability to go to these big events, and you being able to show off what's new in the hobby really makes me feel like I'm there and gives me something to look forward to in this hobby.
For any newbie here planning to make a reef tank, you don't need all those expensive and redundant equipments. Just treat your saltwater tank the same as freshwater tank except you need salt. In saltwater or freshwater tank the things you must focus on is to have a 3x bigger filter than the recommended one and at least 2.5kg biomedia per 100L.
Like always, good work Jack, i'm already using some color correction for blue light, i also use the same variant, yellow and orange. It's amazing what you can do with a cellphone. Only issue i got with macro is that i need to be 3-5cm to the subject.
Yeah... David Saxby's 3700 gallon tank is another level. You can find all info/3Dplans on his famous tank at www.theaquariumsolution.com/content/david-saxbys-aquarium-18
I have a gen1 clarisea in my tank and will never have another tank without one! No filter sock clogging, cleaning, bleaching, etc... I had a rollermat before but the Clarisea is a much better design.
marquise Washington yes I do. It still pulls out some nasty stuff but I only empty the cup once every two to three weeks (I have an automatic neck cleaner because I am lazy 😀. There is a theme here...)
Just want to say if anyone considers it I have a clarisea, it is 100% worth it tue amount its pulled out is rediculous lasted me almost a month so far I don't think i could ever use a filter sock after using one !
That roller filter is the future of saltwater mechanical filtration & will replace the protein skimmer. The problem in our hobby has always been these old school guys from the late 80’s, 90’s, & early 2000’s. These guys are stuck in their ways & don’t realize it’s all about bio-load. I’ve been watching the hobby’s technology advance since 2013 & chemical filtration & biological filtration have all advance. It looks like mechanical filtration is the next step.
I'm sorry UA-cam doesn't pay you enough to visit as many places as you have on that small little check with 36000 subscribers. So you must have a good job or Deep Pockets. Or a wealthy uncle.

Malevolent Duppy rofl didn't realise my typo
AquariClip is what I use and love to take coral photos. Love the reactor. More products should be more modular.

Love the video, do you have any info on where to purchase the clarisea filter??? Are they even available in the states??
Im not sure, I just installed mine but I'll find out before I write up my review
Love your vids and this was no exception. Is there anything new with Radions? Wish I could afford one. Haven’t won any of my club raffles.
Is the tank where you talked about the ai prime the ext 50 lagoon by innovative marine?
Anyone recognise the guy to the left a 8:53. His home reef tank is something else.

Another awesome update!
Did they have a price point on the Nyos tanks?
You know I think it was mentioned in Euros for the EU market but intl. price is tbd
Somewhere I found 1500 euro. I guess that includes stand and sump, which is not that bad
Thanks Jake!!

Do you still have a protein skimmer?
How much do they cost?
marquise Washington yes I do. It still pulls out some nasty stuff but I only empty the cup once every two to three weeks (I have an automatic neck cleaner because I am lazy 😀. There is a theme here...)
marquise Washington I believe around 300€ for the larger automated one.
Just want to say if anyone considers it I have a clarisea, it is 100% worth it tue amount its pulled out is rediculous lasted me almost a month so far I don't think i could ever use a filter sock after using one !

He wants us to pay $50 for a phone clip, he never reveled where he purchased his. Probably paid under $10
It's funny cause those phone clips cost like 10 cents to manufacture. They're just a standard phone clip that has a colored gel pad.
It’s legit the glasses minus the shades and 1 cents worth of plastic
There's no such thing as cheap in this hobby!
Anyone else have a hard time paying attention to the NYOS torque media reactor demo?
Are you referring to the large breasted blond woman in the background? hahaha

No actually I'm just very thrifty and am not shy about couchsurfing.
Reef Builders good for you man that's incredible.
i wish the oceans weren't going to shit, i would have a better outlook on the hobby, the oceans are dying. kinda makes me sad.
