- The final push for home commences in the 1962 Mercedes L319D Van. Battling whatever Mother Nature can dish out, the Van and its crew will not be deterred. The smooth and steady journey from Los Angeles to Crescent City is now in the rear view mirror. What awaits on the last day will test both machine and man. Both will have to work together in order to have a chance at making it back home.
Met you at Portland Cars & Coffee this morning. Thank you so much for sharing Bodi with us. It was a treat to see this one of a kind here in Portland!

Thanks for your comment. I would love to get in touch with you and perhaps see some photos of your O319. Is yours diesel or petrol? Let me know your contact info as I'd enjoy getting in touch.
@@CruisingInClassics its a diesel with 170hp :-)
@@CruisingInClassics i sent you a message on instagram
@@pierhenriksson4561 What model of engine are you using? The stock diesel engine made about 50 horsepower. Curious how you added an extra 120 horsepower to yours.
@@CruisingInClassics i use the om604 with a turbo on it
But its a tight fit :-)
Good video and roadside repairs.
Well done Bodi. Some small fixes will have you well and on the road again.
Thanks so much for watching and your comment. Bodi is a real champ and did so well. We're tracking down a new Heater Core as we speak. We're excited to share this vintage van with others. #KeepDriving !
