I don't think you'd be alone in that sentiment. But it also includes numerous security fixes per the usual. So you actually do want it :)

Spot on, it's rather pathetic to get Pride shoved down your throat every release. It's almost like they've nothing else to offer.

I'm a huge fan of HDR in general, but it was honestly distracting here. 🙈 I had to lower my brightness!

The pill finally coming back would be cool I wonder if it’s going to get improved Audio… also it was quietly discontinued because it used lighting as the charger … but both the micro usb and lightning versions had issues where the charger would be broken in the socket it was horrible placement on their part

I'm seeing these embarrassing releases, even iPhone 17 speculation already.
I will give to iOS18. An all new interface, nice apps, different look etc and I'm happy.

Dumb update. If not weren’t for the security updates, I wouldn’t even bother. Apple is increasingly out of touch. Rinse lather repeat, but we keep buying them. Go figure. iPads were just as big a joke. My Pro gen4 has the same capabilities as the latest version. Not the same capacity, but capacity doesn’t really matter.
