Would love to see some more “day in the life” videos if you have athletes that would do this as a lot speak about the benefits from going “pro” for recovery etc but would like to see what they actually do and how they structure their day with training, recovery, eating and rest?
Lauren! For me personally, it was taking a step back from my full-time job and working part-time to establish a more balanced lifestyle that allowed me to recover properly and fully benefit from the training I was putting in. Recovery, for me, means getting enough sleep consistently, eating well, doing my daily physio exercises/stretching and structuring my work so that it is engaging, but not adding additional stress/distracting me from my running goals. Hopefully that provides a bit of insight :)
