At the outset I will compliment you for taking us around Stockholm through this very engaging vlog-series of yours. Though I am from Gurgaon (a city adjacent to New Delhi, India) I am a regular `walker’ of your episodes who has benefitted immensely from these. In fact, when recently I spent quite some time in Stockholm with my daughter and her husband (they reside opposite Sickla Udde); `Let us walk around Stockholm’ became my guide for my excursions around the city. I used to watch your walks to plan out my own tours the next day. And I must say that these provided me a sense of confidence when walking around when, say, Skanstull, I will notice a particular balcony knowing very well that I am on the right course because in your walk, you had pointed out to that very balcony. So, after numerous walks of my own, patterned along yours, I am back in India but I continue to watch your programme. Indeed, when in Stockholm, my son-in-law suggested that why don’t I connect with you and join you in one of your walks but somehow, I couldn’t gather my wits to do so. But, thanks for acquainting a 64 year-foreigner like me with the joy of walking around the beautiful places of Stockholm.
It always amazes me how similar Sweden is to North Germany. We have exactly the same flea markets on sundays. The weather was really nice today over here, too.
yoooo the place i will visit first when i get there to buy clothes hahah i will travel only with a backpack aint nobody got time to travel with suitcases nowdays
Thanks for posting this video! I can vouch for this being a good flea market as I visited there last year and found some nice things there. When does this particular flea market start up for the year? I plan to visit again when I am in Stockholm.
@@letswalkaroundstockholm Thanks for checking. I am also wondering if the shops in Gamla Stan are open, for the most part, in the winter months, and if the cobble stone slopes there are safe for walking for older people?
I would like to see what kind of CDs were they selling. Everyone was wearing jackets. I don't think it's that cold. It's a nice day to shop for some used items.
Nice view of the flea market and it was nice to hear you speak some swedish and to hear your son. I only picked up on a couple of the words. Do the people at the flea markets take cash or do they do credit card as well? The video wasn't shaky at all. Tack, Daniel!😊
