Hello Herman please can you do a training on Guest design with clearpass using external dns scenario such as umbrella and internal DNS. I think this is something that is very vague in the clearpass design and implementation. Thank you for your wonderful training always.
It shouldn't need any special permissions, normal user equivalent privileges is typically enough. Only if you have a strictly locked-down AD, it needs to have access to the OUs that contains the users and computers (if doing computer authentication), and in there the attributes that you want to use during the authentication. Most important, make sure the service account doesn't expire or require password changes to prevent the integration stop working at an unpredictable time.
Thank you Herman for this great video. Can you please put the command for UPN and mail address as a source of authentication against Active directory. Also for checking Authentication, we need to setup AP for creating the SSID, right ? Please kindly advise.
