The art is nice, and it certainly has it's own feel to it - but it seems like has some extremely cryptic puzzles at times, and a real case of "moon logic". Some of the items required are also incredibly hard to spot. When you probably have no clue what you are looking for in order to progress in the first place - I imagine it would turn into a frustrating pixel-hunt.

For a game this simplistic, where you can count the number of puzzles on two hands, they're shockingly non-intuitive.
The puzzles are only difficult due to it being near impossible to tell what can and can't be interacted with.
This game a real lack of intuitive logic. Poorly designed.

I love how the design is inspired by Don Kenn and the creatures on his post-it drawings.
the sound effects are so realistic and i LOVE it AMAZING JOB CREATORS this game is really good
So the boy starting his adventure to save his friend from some elves creatures , but then little that he knew that the creature wasn't evil at all .... All of them were actually enslaved by an evil little witches that using some sort of butterfly magic and alchemy to make them obey her..., In the end it was a twisted plot that the elves creatures were actually made from some kidnapped children's all ALONG!!!!!!!! In his adventure he met a cowardly being that afraid of others, the friendly ghosts that became his helper, and some of the good creatures that help him in his journey ....and not to mention he had to kill a few in order to continue

Oh god the things in the background of the forest are so creepy
it reminds of mortal kombat where reptile always having a sneak peek behind the tree.

2:24....I get it this is a game but I don't get the fact that he was outside and had to go inside the house to hide in a chest, in order to grab something off the door to be able to make the 4th leg of a chair so he could then climb on the chair to get a key to unlock a door...that just ended up leading you back outside the same house. I would have understood that concept IF there was something blocking you from getting to the other side but there wasn't. The other door was literally around the corner of the door you went through initially so why not just walk around the house instead?

From a player's perspective there is logic to this. The kid just saw his brother being abducted by monsters, falls backwards, and when he gets up he sees a locked door. It makes sense that he would try to get through that door.
I feel the thing that was missing here, was a scene of the player finding nothing behind that locked door.. an empty basement or something, and then having to move on, out the back...

Yep. As glad as I am to watch this game instead of having to play it myself (the puzzle logic looks so painful), the fact that the player knew exactly what to do and where to go means that he just kinda murders an old lady for her housekeys after breaking and entering. I'm guessing the developer assumed players would get caught by her on their first playthrough upon entering the tree, respawn, and then keep going with the understanding that she's evil...but since that didn't happen here, we just have B&E followed by first degree murder.

23:54 How do you know about the patterns to mix the colorful liquid? I cannot see any hints around?
It's not very clear and there is not hint for the colors, but in the book at 23:01 there are 5 dots with the 1st, 4th and 5th highlighted, so it's the 1st, 4th and 5th viol from the left...
So off the protagonist goes murdering and scaring innocent woodland denizens.
I have complaints about this - he does not use a mushroom knife, fireplace poker, torches and stakes. It looks like this boy hasn't read enough fairytales about monsters bloody murdering in their own homes. Hansel and Gretel from original German story does not approve this puny little hippie.

The game is not intuitive at all, very hard to figure things out that shouldn’t be hard to figure out.
lol it’s literally right there in the description for the game. I mean I get how it can be annoying when things don’t follow common sense logic, but they don’t advertise it to be an intuitive experience.. so I’m not sure why you’d expect it to be? Buyer beware and all that

honestly, this game (compared to a lot of other puzzle games) was totally my cup of tea and imo the quests and puzzles were pretty easy and obvious....no idea what that tells you about "my way of thinking"🤣

How were we supposed to know the color of the vials? I didn't get that part. I know it was in the book, but was it something from earlier as well???? My memory that far back is horrible.
This is a very nice looking game that I would never, ever want to have played. The puzzles look so frustratingly obtuse that any good will the artwork had built would be gone before the end of the first chapter.
I'm just mad I can't save progress 😭

How is one supposed to figure out the potion-butterfly puzzle on their own without looking it up??? I'm assuming that the book in the lower floor has something to do with it, but I-the-player am not an alchemist so the symbols in it mean basically nothing to me.
