The aesthetics of this song are very similar to the eternal song from magnum opus Pakeezah. The fountain scene, costume Aditi wearing, Nawab leaving the Mujra & Tawaif following his departure is very similar to the concept of song "Thade Rahiyo" from Pakeezah. Very beautiful.❤👍

The thing I don't understand is why these amazing artists in the show are not to be seen that much in screen.I was fascinated by lajjo's song also and I have never seen the actress before. She was amazing. And this aditi too. I guess there are so many underrated artists who deserve more and some of them were introduced by Heeramandi. I am not an Indian. As someone out of the Indian audience I wanted to say that loved the show and was amazed by acting , voices , clothes and everything. These amazing people deserve more❤

no matter what criticism comes, SLB is a master of senses. while keeping the visual aesthetics in place, he put the sound of santoor to create a dissonance to the vibe of the mujra, and then to bring in coherence between the visuals and sound, he moved the frame to the actress though the cascading fountains, so that the sound of santoor blends seemlessly to the water falling from the fountains....as a titillation to our visual and auditory senses, he prepared this piece to create a little cacphony first, and then end it by blending all the elements together...and that voice of the singer, with its thick, lathergic echo, created a mesmerizing, overwhelming 5 minutes of artistic delight

She should have had a basketful of hit commercial mainstream Bollywood movies on her name by now, just like Deepika, Priyanka & Katrina!! Honestly want to see her pleasantly appearing in many more movies!❤❤❤
It wouldn't be fair to compare Aditi Rao Hydari to Madhubala or Meena Kumari; Gen Zs don't realize the fact that in their prime, they were even bigger stars than Deepika, Priyanka, or Katrina! Aditi, however, shines great in her own light!
@@saifabbas5197 Actually the reason I compared Aditi Rao Hydari to Meena Kumari is this very song- "Phool Gendwa Na Maaro" appear very similar to "Thade Rahiyo" of Pakeezah by Meena Kumari. The set, costume, Nawab leaving the performance in the midway everything is exactly like Thade Rahiyo. The most striking is however Aditi's involvement & expressions in this tragic tale of love which again bring her side by side to Tragedy Queen Meena ji. I feel Meena & Aditi have more than few similarities.
The reason to compare her with Madhubala is her ethereal beauty as evident in Mehrunnissa of Padmavaat. And her costume, act & Gajagamini walk in Heeramandi's another song "Tum Bade Woh Ho" is quite reminiscent of Madhubala's "Mohe Panghat Pe Nandlaal Chherh Gayo Re" from Mughal E Aazm by Madhubala.
So these overall similarities between Aditi Rao Hydari, Meena Kumari & Madhubala are very prominent. Aditi has already become memorable & eternal in Indian cinematic history becoz of Padmavaat & Heeramandi.

In classical dance forms, there are certain aspects that can be attained only through several years of practice. These 'factors' will stay with the dancer and will enhance their dancing whenever they perform even a single step. It's evident when a non classical dancer does it. Actresses like Deepika, Alia, and even Sai Pallavi (who are not trained in classical dances) couldn't do it when they performed classical dances. And then there is aditi, a perfect classical dancer with all those factors. It's a pleasure to watch you perform Aditi!!❤

It hits different when a trained classical dancer performs such exquisite pieces. Shrimathi Aditi Rao has been associated with some the classical greats of this era.
Apart form 'Masoom Dil' none of the songs of #HeeraMandi have been properly choreographed, all the attention was diverted to aesthetic & mediocre emotive aspects, but the choreography was brutality ignored, which cannot be tolerated when the plot is solely based on the lives of Tawayafs & Mujra. I know many people will not agree with my opinion, but this is what I expect from #SLB who has given us marvels like #KaheChedh #DolaRe #Nimoda #Pinga etc ❤
