- At a pro-Palestine rally in front of the UN headquarters in New York, Cornel West, the American philosopher and political activist, passionately demanded a ceasefire in Gaza, denouncing the "overwhelming barbarity."
West criticised the US for its failure to endorse a humanitarian pause and condemned the Israeli occupation and the siege on Gaza. He emphasised the pressing need to address the ongoing genocidal attack.

This is a message Hamas needs to hear. Hamas sole mission October 7th was to cross the border and kill all innocent men women and children in sight, this coming from ex Hamas themselves. When Israel gave away Gaza, it expected that it would become a civilized place, and an example of how to proceed with the West Bank.
Unfortunately this endeavor has utterly failed.
