Blackthorn musicians are exceedingly talented from my perspective, Aina who is the vocalist of Blackthorn mentioned in an interview she prefers darker music, i'm fully aware precisely what she meant because i'm into dark eerie sinister ominous metal music consisting of diabolical shadowy infernal tenebrosity which is what the institution known as Blackthorn provides. Their music contain plenty of violin instrument incorporated therein which is what i obtain enjoyment from, as well as keyboards to thereby exude magnificent creepy tenebrous menacing tartarean atmosphere, added to the brilliance is other instruments such as drums, electric guitar and bass guitar while Aina utilize soprano and extreme vocals, she also writes the lyrics. Elvira plays electric guitar and employ usage of growled vocals, additionally she plays other instruments on their studio albums. You see i live in South Africa, due to my love of extreme evil heavy metal music with symphonic elements i discovered spectacular Blackthorn, i hereby state that i've got no idea how much work it takes to keep a band together, however i can imagine it, but Blackthorn musicians should remember there's always people such as myself who appreciate their work. Thanks to technology i could write this comment. I am not a musician at all i listen to various diverse music genres, in my youth i started with pop music, hip hop music, reggae music, rock music, jazz music etc and African local music where i stay, thereto causing me being bombarded with a vast variety of music leading to me unintentionally becoming exposed to all sorts of music which i'm grateful for, it was all a coincidence lol, but to fast forward i've progressed to heavy metal music genre's thereby igniting more movement towards traditional black metal music and symphonic black metal music being commenced, now i ended up in evil exquisitely outstandingly superb realm of extreme metal music.
