Hi yup James got me into my GHM9 too was not quick enough to get the short stroke kit but will be getting one when restocked Luckily I didn't get the bolt lock problem he had had great fun running it as my side arm instead of my Glock Enjoy your time with it Bestest from Scotland
Just a heads up, you can make those short stroke spacers yourself without needing a 3d printer. I did, and it worked great. It just took a couple mockups to get the measurement right. His are really reasonably priced too.

Loving the APC9 so far, although got to admit I’ve not got past the fondling stage yet! But, the quality of Archwick’s SMG would tempt me to get their L119A2 (MWS spec), but too rich for my blood atm! After my quick scan of the manual, I noticed Archwick recommends ‘dry’ gas like yourself and a 3-4 second mag fill. The included tool allows removal of the barrel nut so you can then remove barrel and hop unit. Looking forward to your more in-depth review, and any progress on suppressors, as I reckon the APC-9 is crying out for one that's got decent threads and will accept a tracer unit! P.S. I think most people love it when you nerd out on anything GBB! Keep up the good work 👍

What made you want to go for the Archwick one over the VFC (maruyama) ? From my understanding the VFC is an amazing GBBR and the Archwick has some issues.
Interestingly, bbs get stuck also with beretta pmx mags from umarex. They look similar but you can see and operate follower from outside, like on glock mags.
Keeping in mind the huge price difference, which is the better option? This one or the GHM9? Looking to buy the GHM9 but I wanted to know your opinions. THX

Seems like both the recoil, charging handles and mag followers all could use stronger springs!

the old SCAR had a reciprocating bolt, it has been removed for years now i believe. Good enough example though lol.

It seems like kwa will be making their own apc9 called the tac9. Is that a gun you may check out in the future?
The bolt looks short, it should be touching the charging handle assembly when in battery!
Get a shusher on it!! Will look better proportioned with a suppressor 👌🏻
