It always amazes me how artists can bloop-bloop a couple times on the canvas and there’s a rock. Just like Bob Ross; he’d dab the canvas a few times and there was a happy little tree.
Yeah Bob was awesome for it and it's something you learn over time, to let go of smaller details.
Yup, to much attention on the details is my problem. Just cannot let go😅

when I get to the part were we are to start putting in the sea no colour shows but in the layers it shows my layers mask shows white with a black border while yours is black with a white border, can you tell me what I am doing wrong as I follow your instructions ?
I think you have missed the invert of the selection before masking. Tap the mask and might be able to invert it
