Recollection Talk: Through Advent to Christmas: THE SEASON FOR A REASON, Fr Benny G Koottanal MSFS

This is a Recollection Talk at the beginning of the season of Advent 2024. The talk invites all of us to have a meaningful preparation to encounter the Lord of our Life at the Manger. It equally invites us to look into ourselves and observe whether we are merely enchanted by Rubrical Fancies or Do We Take Jesus Seriously! Some of the terminologies we encounter in this reflection, such as, Dodging with God, God of Convenience etc invite us to evaluate our Christian life-style. We meet with three varieties of people on our way to the Manger. They are: Fearful, Indifferent & Wise People! Where do we find ourselves. The talk invites us to Live like Jesus so that we will experience Christmas as a life-changing event of our Christian journey. I wish all of you a meditative experience of Advent through the listening of this recollection talk.
