McGee Creek 2024

On May 31, 2024 we headed back up into the Sierra for the first backpacking trip of the year. We decided to try the McGee Creek trip we had to cut short last year due to lost and malfunctioning gear. We definitely encountered a fair amount of snow but nothing like 2023!!
The trip lived up to everything we wanted; solitude, beautiful scenery and time to share the wilderness together. We were even afforded the opportunity to be on-trail "Trail Angels" to some 2024 PCT Hikers, which was super special.
We are looking forward to more trips this summer, especially in September where we have plans to travel to Canada for some backpacking in the Jasper National Forest. So make sure you follow us so you get notifications when we have new videos to share.

I love your videos ❤ I would love to do what you are doing. I’m hoping to get into backpacking. Right now I’m just day hiking and last summer did some day hikes in the eastern Sierras. Hoping to get back there this summer.
