I can see why the theme never whent anywhere, “Pharos quest” is a lot less open ended than “adventures” but for what it was, it was a fun small unlicensed theme with some awesome sets

when I was in 2nd grade, my whole class got lego magazines about this set & theme. I loved that magazine & learning all the facts about Egypt. I got the Cursed Cobra set, but my kid brain thought I would have to build it all in one sitting & that it would take hours. Years later, I'm injured and get it out to make. I just finished & it was so fun! I love all the details and these neat storylines for each set. Great video!

You have a point about the sphinx. The head is too big for the back and the legs. And that sphinx looks more like a jackal to me.

Are you ever going to rank power miners sets? My parents just got me 8189 for my birthday so I’ve been thinking a lot about power miners it was a good theme.
