I think they stop updating the game if it is only added to push students on roof top and new students that they bully the other students (also it needs gossip)if they added this I would really like the game..
If you don't want the Sakura's, you have an option to turn them off in the menu in-game. Then you end the game and go to home screen of the game and start a new game. There will be no Sakura's

Sadly the game won’t get updated for a long time or even again but there’s hope and I miss all the olds things if it gets updated hopefully they return them
Oh, and one more thing you missed!: there was a ghost option beside phone in the upper right, but sadly developers removed it. but i think it was a really cool feature! i dunno why they removed it cause i never played the game in the past years. i played it before, but got deleted. and downloaded it in my new gadget again xd
