Am not from SA nor Zimbabwe. But I am a human being. SA is part of a global community and signatory to several international laws -hence when one hears of barbaric incidents against other human beings, it attracts our interest.
My NGO has supported several beneficiaries in SA, over the years and I love the country but we refuse to stand back and watch in silence what has been taking place-with regards to the new vigilantism groups like dudula ,ActionSA etc whose focus is making life uncomfortable for the vulnerable foreign nationals in your country.
We have lodged the necessary concerns with several international entities to enforce SA to ensure that the safety of those foreign nationals are prptected-documented or not.
We in the same instance are pushing that other NGOs do the same..
What is worrying is that your govt seem to be passively supporting the attacks as we have noticed lack of political will to protect the foreign nationals -rather one notes that even your state organs like police, etc are also harassing them!!!
