thx for the answer tony, but im still a bit confuse,do you have a video about that? or maybe a link? i have check all the video as i can find on youtube but none of them show us how to fix the head for a 180 degree movement like your goblin...if im correct you pin the cord into the head hole and then put the neck into the head but how the neck himself is fixed to the body the get the movement from back to foward(look up and down)..thx again for the answer and keep posting video sir,im learning everyday!!!

If I wanted bendable arms, would I make them with the same mindset as the legs, a slot in one piece and a rounded edge on the other?

i mean how do you fix the head on a marionettes like the goblin we can see behind..a 3 strings head control, what is holding the head on the neck ?was thinking about string inside the neck but i dont see any nuts on top of the head and i still have a marionette without head..i wont use any apparent metal loop so if you could give me a hand on that plz..sry for the explaination im french and try to explain as i can..lol

Yes on the 4 string one the neck goes up into the head and a screw eye is attached to the top of the neck. The solid wire then loops through the eye.
In the case of the goblin then a stiff cord goes through the neck piece and into the head, the cord is then pinned. Hope that makes sense.

some ppl carve inside the body but i cant figure out how they fix the neck inside the body..your full version of 6h shows how to make the clown but the one i made is like your goblin and the only part missing actually is my head..thats why i was asking those question..

JFL I have added a new video which hopefully shows you what I mean. If your puppet design is different then email me an image of it and I'll have a look. ua-cam.com/users/profile_redirector/114396122685205166371
