Not just for MN, tell us also what do you mean by this. Even i have 3 Hard Disk's, 2-2TB HDD's and a 1TB SDD, is there any chance of data loss? Cz i recently heard my friend's HDD crashed where his was a newer model.

It consists of multiple disks and depending on number of desks, you can configure different type of RAID levels which gives you drive redundancy. Some levels of RAID also improves read/write performance. Mostly all NAS has some kind of cloud connectivity feature so that you can access your data from outside your network through web or a mobile app. Couple of examples of consumer NAS are Qnap and Synology.

I was anyways looking to have an FTP server, maybe this will solve my that part too. Plus consider the level of data I have and the rate of increase in data, I have to buy new hard disk soon, but considering the volatility of HDD I have been advised to go for SDD, but it's too damn costly. What's the alternative?
@@ashishsharma1205 - you can definitely setup a FTP server on a NAS. Just be careful on opening ports to the internet. Use SSD for quick storage and OS partition. Use NAS drives like WD RED for long term storage. They are designed for that.
