I just found your page. I had a MRI with biopsy today. They found a large lump in my right breast and my right breast is bleeding from my nipple. I’m a 52 year old female. Breast cancer runs in both sides of my family. I’m scared but watching your video has helped calm me down and for that I thank you.

@@_Fluorescent_ thank you so much. I’m doing ok. The biopsy was negative for cancer and I couldn’t be happier about that. Still not sure what is causing the bleeding.

I'm 26, I was in the same situation last year. The biopsy is super easy. You don't feel anything (we don't go under anasthesia for it where I'm from, they just numbed the area a bit) during the procedure and after it's just a little bit sore. They called me 4 days later when the lab results were there and everything was okay!

You are so lucky your biopsy was not painful. Unfortunately mine were very small jagged edged ones in small clusters and further back. So the numbing literally did not work for me. I felt it all. Took an 1.5 hours from beginning & end. I am not gonna sugar coat anything it was really uncomfortable & painful. Was just supposed to be my left breast. How ever a couple days later when they got results that came back abnormal ; they told me since I had a few on my right breast I would need to do biopsy on that side as well. So I asked for something to help ease discomfort since the first one was so painful. Also the lidocaine- ephedrine combo makes me shake like crazy and gives me sensation of a panic attack. Well they told me to go through my obgyn. So they ended up giving me one single Valium 1mg to take 30 mins pre procedure. So my right biopsy ended up being even worse even on the Valium! These calcifications were even harder to get to than the left breast. So it took longer. She tried to give me extra numbing but once again , it didn’t work & I felt the entire procedure. Anyhow! Just want to share my real experience. Not everyone has an easy pain free experience. My second biopsy results came back “inconclusive” after being sent to 3 local labs. So now they had to send to a special lab. So hopefully I will know soon. I also am someone who has issues with anxiety. So my recommendation is to try and ask your obgyn for any type of meds combo to help ease your discomfort especially of your calcifications are very small & clustered in an area hard to get to. They told me it’s usually no problem for ppl who just have one larger one because it’s so easy to find so numbing usually works better for them. My experience was def not good at all. Hope this helps anyone who has similar issues as myself!!

Speaking from a point of view of a male who has had pretty serious surgery (I had a hernia repair procedure done near my lower abdomen/pelvic area 🙈) surgery’s are no joke, it’s always a scary thing so those feelings are totally normal, but one thing is for sure, you’ll feel SO MUCH more better and stronger because you know you did something to better you own health. Health is ALWAYS a priority bc without it we wouldn’t be the amazing people we are today 🥰 you are strong for sharing you story with you followers bc some girls wouldn’t be comfortable sharing these types of things. Jazmin, you are in my prayers. 💚 I watched my mom go through a similar ordeal some years ago. Bedside manner of medical professionals matters so much and I feel like your ultrasound technician lacked a bit. My mom's situation was stressful until she found a wonderful breast surgeon. He is so kind and thankfully her breasts are just full of calcium deposits, but she gets checked out every year. If you ever need to talk, I am here to listen. I know I am just a fan more than a friend, but I understand what you are going through. Plus, I have my own medical journey that has been ongoing for over ten years now. Anyway, stay optimistic and positive, Jazmin. I know this is tough, but I agree that it is all for a reason greater than you or I.

@@closetraid, thank you. Indeed it is, but based on the glimpses we have seen of your family, I know you have an excellent support system behind you every step of the way. And, thank you for your kind words for my own medical woes. I try to take it little by little every single day too. Of course some days are overwhelming, but being hard on myself does not help so I am learning to be kinder to myself. I have a ton of autoimmune issues and more (That is part of the problem. My doctors do not know what to diagnose me with entirely). I know you mentioned having a diagnosis in that realm before so you get it. It is always an uphill battle. Also, I appreciate you being so vulnerable and sharing this part of your life. Of course your fashion videos are why I first became so fond of you, but I like getting to know you on a more personal level too. The fact that you are willing to go there speaks volumes about you and I hope all of those watching just have kindness in their hearts to understand how important this situation is. Stay brave and beautiful, Jazmin. You are making such a valuable impact and we need more of that in this world.

Of course your subscribers clicked on this too. We love and care about you! This happened to my sister a couple years ago and the lump was fine after she got the biopsy. My sister, your age, had it in her head that she had breast cancer but she didn’t. I wish the person doing the ultrasound used different, more positive body language. They have no right to make you worry as there are so many normal lumps and bumps found. My tip is to only worry if you get actual bad news. Think positive thoughts to manifest good results. You’ll be ok! Looking forward to an update!

Major props for being proactive about finding the lump and following up with the doctor.
There is a fair amount of waiting after an ultrasound so the radiologist can examine the sonograms to determine if she needs additional pictures. I spent about 3 hours for my initial baseline mammogram waiting in the gown to take additional films, then an ultrasound, then another ultrasound. Radiologists are being super thorough which feels like they’re being super suspicious.
I think breast radiology is totally anxiety-provoking because innocent-looking things can look a whole lot like other things, so there’s more navigation with breast tissue than other parts of the body.
