He got me thinking about the controversy with the Hum Awards and artist's being held accountable for using their platforms. He is spot on about celebrities being wrongly held responsible for things that are simply the government's job. People need to remember that these people are human and not everyone can publicly come forward and become a humanitarian. Kudos to those who do, like Hadiqa Kiani right now, but why is this the expectation all of a sudden? Where are our expectations for the people who are actually in charge of this country? Why is there an unprecedented amount of anger and hatred displayed towards celebrities for going to an award show which was planned months and months before the flooding (and could not be legally cancelled), and nothing being said to the government who is sitting with their eyes and ears closed? Everybody in this world has to make their own worth and eveyrbody has their own responsibilites as he said. And not everyone will publicly display their donations and their contribution towards any given disaster during a time of need, because in Islam, we are taught to keep these things private as a public display can hinder one's intention. Angelina Jolie is being praised for her work in Pakistan, but guess what? That's the responsibility she chose to endure when she became a goodwill embassador - that's now her job and she gets paid just like any other career. She goes across the world and sheds light upon crises because that's the job she chose, but that's not something that everyone will choose to do. Overall, learn to respect everyone from all careers, because we need every industry to thrive. If we started questioning and bashing any prominent figure for not publicly using their voices, then we're doing more harm than good. We need doctors, engineers, lawyers, journalists, professors, actors, singers, teachers and humanitarians. If somebody chooses to stay in their lane and stick to their professional life and keeps everything else private (i.e. how much the donate etc.) then we need to respect that. May Allah make it easy for those affected by floods and other crises
Spot on. This takes the limelight away from the politicians who should be held responsible for the mess, and the proper reach of donation to the needy ones, pouring from all over the world. Why an entertainment artist should jump into ground on every issue
I agree with you but all these celebrities are extremely rich, which is why we expect them to donate and support these causes. Most middle class people cannot do much to help but celebrities have that platform and influence that they can use to help the people.

He is a star. You and Hassan keep talking about why Pakistan doesn’t have as many superstars. He is definitely one of them . He has that vibe. He is so confident and so well spoken. Good interview
Fabulous interview :) thank you so much for this interview, SH and AHI. My favourite part of the interview undoubtedly has to be Atif speaking fondly of and appreciating his spouse Sarah publicly which very very few desi men do. Recently there was Virat Kohli who expressed his gratitude towards his spouse Anushka after hitting his maiden T20 ton and now there's Atif. Thank you Atif, we need more husbands/men like you!
This interview made me revisit his entire journey, all the old songs which I never knew I was missing out on. I loved how he spoke so simply about his life, his struggles, and his fame.
His song for Sange Maha for ost is winning over all songs in Hum Awards in Canada His zealous jump for Dil Dil Pakistan with Soniya in hum awards outstanding My kids love + listen Asma ul Husna Azan n Salam by Aatif Aslam . His journey from Aadat to film n Sange Maha been smooth also possible by virtue of his hardwork
BEAUTIFUL! SOULFUL! Atif Aslam OMG, how does one explain what it feels right now... This was a true delight to watch... Hearing Atif was so soothing and calming, I mean I kept smiling throughout... could listen to him for hours and hours... for anyone who feels he sounded arrogant or was showing off, no he's actually realized his self worth which is great. keep it up you guys, we're thankful!
He is so honest n straight to each question ... That is why whatever he says hits different... Every perspective of his towards things is so calming n positive ...like now matter what gonna happen he is aware of the best n worst too ... Its always great to listen his interviews ... N the way u love ur family most adorable ... #respect n lots of love from ur aadeez ...❤ n happy that u took challenge n did sang e mah n gave us hilmand... U were just fab ...waiting for ur coming projects :)
For Tajdar e Haram, i must say he touched the generation that had no interest in Pakistani music. Made me feel so good seeing it in my niece playlist with all English songs and Bollywood songs and lots of respect for that
I LOVED Sang e Mah and it was mostly because of Atif Ji and Hilmand!!! Unforgettable!!! He really was just as good as Nouman Ji and in some scenes...... better. Sang e mah worked because of Atif Ji. It is astounding that this was his first acting experience!!! I was blown away by Hilmand!! The OST for the drama is the best!!! A beautiful piece of work. Kubra Ji is also phenomenal opposite Atif Ji. Many congrats to Atif Ji for his hard work in the drama and for all the beautiful music he has given us. I love Tajdar e Haram my grandmother used to sing it at Quran Khanis when we were young. I am always floored by the pure decency of the Pakistani artist!! They are just so humble and grateful for what Allah has given them. There is no arrogance or unpleasantness in any of them and Atif Ji is no different. I totally get what he is saying about everyone expecting musicians (also comedians ) to perform for nothing!! What is that about??? I used to manage a Jazz big bang and no one ever wanted to pay the musicians for their appearance and friends and family expected complimentary tickets. These gigs were not expensive like £5-10 tickets!!! Cheapskates!!! All musicians should own the rights to their work and be paid royalties whenever their work is broadcast!!! #royaltiesforartists Thank you to Atif Ji for all his work and to Aamina Ji for a great interview!!!!
After listening to Atif and Fawad’s recent interviews , I am so happy to see that they both are so so so humble . I did not imagine them to be that humble to be honest. They truly are our national asset. Mashallah .
1. Thank you for the unfiltered interview Atif 🙏 ❤ 2. About that question regarding musicians joining acting, Aamna if that didn't happen, we would've missed a great role played by atif. It feels like atif & only atif could've played hilmand like he did. Plus hilmand sang as well & because atif was playing the character so the singing came from the heart that's why it touched our hearts the way it did.
What a great interview. Atif is always a treat to listen to, the way he talks about his wife and kids is so cute. I had the pleasure to go to his concert in montreal this year as well as seeing him at the Hum awards and every time watching him is just mesmerizing, he just knows how to sing and his voice is just pure magic!
The work he has done in india is remarkable I think none the of the Pakistani has this much valuable work there ...India loves atif and respects him that i know for sure! We have grown listening to his songs Bollywood music is synonymous to him! Salam especially launched the dil diyan gallan in a bigg boss episode he himself wanted atif to sung that song 😍
It is so beautiful that atif aslam, being such a big star he is, speaks so highly of his wife and regards her as every man should their wives. Sets a standard. In the whole world when men find it derogatory to give all the credit to their wives, Atif does it and that too in such a beautiful way.
India loves Atif , Bollywood was lucky to have him . Wish he can sing more of the melodious song . His playlist is the high light in my life . I met him in Atlantic City I can’t forget how nice he was .love you atif
Being an Aadeez this was an incredible treat to watch. 😍 I loved how Atif spoke his heart out and put out all his honest thoughts and theories about life! 🥹🫶🏻 I as being a pakistani take pride in you, you’re indeed a living legend MashaAllah, a man with a Heart of gold.🌟 May Allah bless you and your beautiful family endlessly.♥️ I would also like to thank the host for not interrupting much, and letting Atif speak more. 🫡 it was an amazing interview, thank you so much for having him 🫶🏻

Aamna you are a Rockstar what amazing interviews of the biggest stars not just of Pakistan but of Bollywood also. Organic interviews no gossip 👍 Atif aslam was so humble, he's my favourite singer love him ❤️🇮🇳
What a refreshing, engaging and entertaining interview. My favorite part was his heart break part where he said " how dare she". I wonder if she heard this interview.
Uffffff this interview is such a treat. Just played it and what a intro man. Watching this one before Fawad's interview. Huge atif fan. I am all smitten❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The interview was fantastic i just loved it atif talks really wise and mature i loved that part when he talked about his family his realization of spending his time with his family and I guess everyone of us realize this at a point of time in our life and that is a good thing looking forward to see him more in dramas and ofcourse films

The man is a legend such a rockstar! Love this candid side of Atif. Another great interview Amna, Something Haute is hitting it out of the park so well done.

His concert in Massachusetts was amazing . Such an amazing show! made us all so proud. Before him , we’ve only had very mediocre concerts from Pakistani artists with bad acoustics. And cherry on top was meeting him backstage
How lucky you got to meet and greet.. I’d have to see him again for that. I also attend that concert 🎶 I was just a fan to some of his music but after hearing him live.. it was a Surreal experience ❤
Love love love it. Its always love hearing from people who have learned from their experiences so much. Maturity and life lessons come out in every word and its so amazing to hear it
Atif Aslam has so much more respect in my heart, when I heard him talk so highly of his wife Sara. When he said “she is the most beautiful woman I know”. This is such a big compliment, not many men, especially celebrities will say this beautiful remark about their wives. It’s a married man’s nature that no Mather how beautiful their wife may be, they will think other beautiful women are more better looking than their wife. Sara is one lucky woman who’s husband thinks she is the most beautiful woman. Big respect for Atif Aslam, he is a very good human being ❤🙏
I was really looking forward for this interview. Because I was aware he will more than any show. When I watch any Atif Aslam interview, I just want to listen him . At the Amna you are best . Keep it up
He is an amazing artist with a God gifted melodious voice that can touch your heart as soon as you hear it! This Summer I had the pleasure of attending Atif’s concert when he came to LA area, it was an awesome experience, sooo much fun!! ❤💐
I clearly rmeeber the sensation that Adat became and with it Atif Aslam. This shows how much talent and craft can give you. Thank you very much for this beautiful interview. Fabulously entertaining.
Tajdaar e haram in coke studio was an ok effort for me & then i got to hear it live @ atif/sonu nigam concert. Omg i had goosebumps while he was singing. From that day forward its my favorite
Thank you for this wonderful interview with Atif he is very humble and very positive. My eyes teared up when he spoke of Tajdar e Hareem. And whenever I listen to it. 😍
Okay, I have already watched this interview twice. It is always a treat to watch Atif's interview he speaks so well it's more of a therapy, his words touch your heart, and he is so humble and honest, he is a pure soul with no insecurities. He is blessed with a magical voice that reaches your heart and it is not only about his songs but also when he speaks, I can listen to him talking all day long. Atif 😍😍😍
Such a brilliant interview. We got to see the real side of Atif Aslam-nothing was fake. Loved his honesty, his spiritual side. This was better than Fawad’s interview or any other interviews in the past. I couldn’t forward/skip any part of it. Well done Amna, this is amazing.
Huge huge fan of atif since aadat....He is The Atif Aslam... Pride of Pakistan...how honest and insightful this person despite his star persona..i can listen to him for hours ... thank you #somethinghaute and #amna for bringing atif to the show ❤️❤️❤️
@amna this was such an amazing interview! I know Hassan is great at interviews but I think should definitely sprinkle some of yours in between because I love the perspective of your questions. Honestly I watch your interviews just because you did them and not because of the artist in front. ❤ please do more frequent interviews 🤗🫶

He sounds like a confident person who knows his worth and doesn't shy from showing it. Nothing wrong with that, but it is no definition of humble. Suppose you appreciate someone. You don't have to use all the adjectives. Humble is "having or showing a modest or low estimate of one's importance." As an English teacher for speakers of other languages, I couldn't help! :)
Wonderful interview conducted by you Amma and what a great person Atif is down to earth humble brilliant . Both the interviews of two legends Atif and Fawad were brilliant you can pat your back Amna 🎂👍

Atif and Fawad turned out to be so much more humble than I imagined them to be
Humility is a sign of greatness
Atif is soooo humble. He actually is more famous for his humbleness.
@M. Anahita Chawlawhat kind of training? Social graces are expected of all people but many do not learn them.

humble

Atif singing sang-e-mah's OST🤩
His voice doesn't need any auto tune.😙🔥😭 Thank you soo much Aamna g for this interview.

You guys have the best content. Can you please upload your audio files on spotify as well please? Listening to you guys while driving would be a vibe.
Big respect for Atif Aslam, he is a very good human being ❤🙏
A great interview! Iam super happy and a big fan of Atif!
It would be pleasure to see him again in any drama or film ❤❤❤❤
Loved this interview, Atif is so humble and down to earth. Thank you Aamna

Atif 😍😍😍

What a man! Superstar of Pakistan and what a gem of a person❤
Amna you have won my heart . Thankyou so much for this interview loved loved it
Thank you SH and Aamna. Loved listening to Atif ❤
Wao! Show starting and Atif's voice.
Just mindblowing
this man Atif Aslam has brand written all over his persona.
Pakistan is to lucky to have such gigantic superstar personality
